Waiter rushed off his feet on Sunday night but was honest and said due to staff absence was on his own front of house. He was waiting on all the tables and getting all the takeaways out too! Nothing was too much trouble, he was polite and professional under immense pressure. We'll be back soon. The food was delicious as it always is so 5 🌟 to the kitchen staff too👍😋

As narrowboaters we pass through many different places on our travels, and we always without fail find the Indian restaurants. Last night as a group of 4 we went to Shampaan. I can honestly say we had a fabulous evening, great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. The starters we had were a very nice quality, but the standout were the main dishes. Each one we ordered was different to the next, (non of these base gravy curries that all taste the same), and of a very high standard that tasted amazing!!! More over, they were different to and stood out against curries we have had in many other places. I highly recommend these guys, a fab restaurant well worth a visit. We will be back. Thanks guys for a great night!

Excellent, well cooked and well presented food. I can recommend this restaurant as THE place to eat in Wheelock/Sandbach. Ideal if you're a boater and have just done Heartbreak Hill and can't be bothered cooking or fortify yourself before beginning your ascent.

Went there for the first time 04/02/23 with the family. 10 out of 10. 6 of us dined we all had different meals we all loved it. Best Indian meal I’ve had in years. We all want to go back soon.

I feel as though its now high time I should praise this absolute gem of a restaurant. In my lengthy experience eating there, the food is always consistently superb. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal or experience there after many years of visiting of them. Unlike many establishments they really do genuinely listen to your order, be it for bespoke heat levels or for dietary requirements. It's very clean and the staff are always extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. They really do go the extra mile. . Unreservedly recommend that if you enjoy a curry you should give them a try be it for a table for two or with a group of friends. Excellent.

Cannot fault this place ,staff really spot on and even agreed to make me a meal not on their menu , despite having A very large birthday party dining too . Food was excellent too.

Excellent food waiters are really friendly and service is excellent. Always make my Grandaughter who is 14 feel special they take her into the kitchen keeping her at a safe distance to see what's going on in there. I would recommend it.
