Review The Holy Loch Inn - Sandbank

We got stranded in Dunoon during "the rains" that left a lot of roads closed in October 2023. After a frantic day of travel and nearly 7 hours of driving a pint and a meat pie at the inn was the perfect medicine. Staff was lovely and the patrons and atmosphere made us feel like family.

Local friendly pub. Happy staff and customers who welcome strangers with local knowledge. Pour a good pint of Guinness.

Food was Great! Highly recommend Staff were friendly will defo be back! Downside the fairy lights looked a mess all drooped in one spot.... needs tidied up would look better running along the beams on the roof. Dog friendly place aswell which was lovely even had dog biscuits on the bar.

Staff friendly and good covud restrictions in place , cosy wee pub. Dinner was nice my partner enjoyed the fish I had seafood platter which was OK

Great food and restaurant/pub have been nearly every year without fail apart from 2018 due to work. Only disappointment was salmon and prawns parcel (forgot exact name) was not on menu this year but ment we tried something else and that was just as great 5 stars and staff were 5 stars also.

Warm and welcoming. A mix of regulars, passers by, holiday makers, and paws. Dog friendly, varied menu, regular events, local ales. Somewhere just to chill with my dog over a pint

Quiet friendly pub food nice but portions extremely small

Stopped by for lunch on Saturday. It was quiet when we showed but soon got a bit busier. Very friendly staff and the food was great. (Steak pie was very yummy). A couple of dogs were in too and it's nice to give them a wee clap. The pub is very dog friendly.
