Quick Friday night dinner. Pub has just been renovated and looks great. Service was good, and pub (not restaurant!) is dog friendly. The moules were delicious, but the sausages were a little dry.
Rooms were really clean and the service was excellent! Came down to try the fish and chips and was really impressed with how friendly and welcoming the atmosphere was. Would 💯 recommend to anyone considering staying here.
What a lovely pub and restaurant! Food was amazing, good portion sizes, home cooked, reasonably priced! 3 course Sunday dinner for £24!!!! Was beautiful. Staff were very friendly, was a lovely atmosphere too. See you soon 😊
Cozy with a warm welcome, we didn't eat but the restaurant looked lovely and has beautiful views of the beach. The upstairs terrace is a lovely place to have a drink while taking in the scenery. It was a bit chilly and overcast when we went so I would love to visit again when the sun is shining, the
Sunday pm, hungry after a hike, needed roast and quick. On the table 10 mins after sitting down awesome. 'Real' roast potatoes too. Expected 2 x veg dishes not one but plenty for four. No probs.
Stewart & Wendy are great hosts. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Was super pleased to have found this little gem to stay in. We had the top floor, bedroom and sitting room with gorgeous sea views. Bed was comfortable, ensuite spotlessly clean. For breakfast there were lots to choose fro
So me and my family have eaten here a few times and the food is amazing, cooked to perfection and well presented. Friendly staff and happy to help. Lovely pub. I discover the Poretti bier it’s very nice and the barman is very friendly.
Lovely place. Food is amazing, good selection of beers. And Amy, who served us our lovely fish and chips was excellent!
Went for an early evening Saturday pint. Nice choice of local beers. And a nice crowd in that night.
Literally the best fish and chips I've ever had in my life EVER...no exaggeration. They were busy but coped well. Everything v quick turn around. Mum had a roasting which she loved. Sea view amazing. Staff fantastic...love it here!
This modestly-sized pub restaurant has a dining area at one end that looks out onto the sea, and a pub area that meets the road. Parking was a doddle and there was a friendly welcome. We sought a fish lunch, on a day trip from West Kent. The food was a little slow in coming but the chips were amazin
We hadn't booked, but they found a table for four of us, just perfect overlooking the sea. It was very busy and they had run out of a few things on the menu. However, what we did order was delicious, and the 2 waitresses, despite being run off their feet, were absolutely lovely. Good food. Good valu
This is a favourite place for us and the food as usual was great. The service is nice but nothing happens in a hurry as they are always busy and seemingly short staffed. There is always plenty of fish to choose from, we love the Skate. But there is something for everyone and the wine list is also
I've only been to the pub part on the high street. But it was great. Super cosy, comfortable, charming and inviting traditional old pub. Lovely old building too with friendly staff. The beer they brew there was great also. They had a good selection of other beers too (maybe 5/6 in total). Shared a l
