After walking into Sandgate from Folkestone we stumbled upon The Savoury Slice. I ordered a full English breakfast and a cup of tea. It was the best fry up I have ever eaten! All freshly cooked while we sat on the stools that were placed in the cafe window so we could people watch while waiting. I
If I fancy a good bacon roll or sandwich, this is the place I prefer to go to. No ridiculous overpricing here, just good food. Never had any had experiences on my visits here, alone or with friends.

Ignore the negative comments the lady that works is polite enough.. it's a very quiet shop that does nice food at a really good price. Not much else to it... The lady probably deserves a tip for making a nice sausage and egg roll if anything
Spot on, bacon and coffee at a sensible price. Lots of other choices too. Not twee or pretentious, sensible food at sensible prices. A cafè, not a restaurant.
