This place was recommended so we booked but had to wait a few days as they were full. Duly arrived for dinner, lovely warm welcome by hosts, fab menu choice and specials board. Amiable atmosphere, cosy feel but not cramped even though it's a small place. We had 3 courses but ate mains before I remembered to take a pic so only starter and puds attached. Full portions, no skimping, delicious and well cooked - garlic mushrooms, prawn cocktail, profiteroles and Eton mess; with wine and beer, quite reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this place, a great find in Sandown run by a lovely Brum couple 🤗

Visited twice in three days. Simple but classy dishes done very well and served with a smile. There's not a lot of dinner restaurants to choose from in Sandown these days, but even if there were many more, this place would still be first on the list.

Me and my wife went to this restaurant for the first time last evening. We were welcomed warmly, the atmosphere was brill and seating well spaced out. We had garlic bread with cheese for starter and it was lovely. For mains we had the steak and pie of the day, both were presented well, piping hot and delicious. We couldnt go for dessert as we were just to full. Overall it was a brilliant experience , so much so we went back tonight and it was all just as good. Highly recomended, but do book because its really popular, and deservedly so.

We was recommended Bellamy's whilst down on holidays and we were not disappointed, the waitress and chef were very welcoming when we turned up unannounced and found a table for us. Everything was clean and tidy with nice music playing in the background creating a relaxing atmosphere. The food was amazing all home made using fresh produce, it was delicious. The chef and the waitress were quite clearly very special people who took great pride in what they do to create a pleasurable experience for their customers and that's something you don't get anywhere anymore. We enjoyed it so much we went again the following nights.

We had a delicious meal here on the final night of our holiday. The food was delicious - all served up with warmth by the owners. There was something for all the family to eat and my 12 year old son said the steak he had was the best he'd ever eaten. We were stuffed when we left and would definitely return!

We were in Sandown and came across Bellamy’s, a restaurant that calls itself both a bistro and a cafe. From the outside, it did seem more like a bustling cafe – black and white check table cloths, bottles of malt vinegar on the tables and happy diners tucking into large plates of pie, vegetables and mash, fish and chips and ice cream sundaes. There was also a table of people eating a lobster platter. We were intrigued. The menu was indeed eclectic:  main courses ranged from home made steak and kidney pie, chicken curry, pasta and various seafood dishes.
