A great place to stop on your back home. No matter we have ordered here, it's always topnotch. From the coconut curry soup (Vegetarian, w/chicken or whatever your taste-buds crave, just ask),to the special which was enough for 2; makes your eyes roll and your mouth water. Quick and professional service, clean pleasant surroundings. Nice decor.

Me and my boyfriend always come here. So much so that the owner knows our names and our order. This is the best place I've found for pho.

I plan to make this place a habit. The broth in the vegetarian coconut curry soup was AMAZING. It was served with lots of fresh vegetables, Thai basil and pepper slices. The service was friendly and quick.

This place is nothing much to look at as far as decor but their food is excellent. My husband had the house special pho and I had chicken pad Thai. They both were delicious. They are still following COVID protocol, such as distancing, menus under cover and utensils in plastic bags. We are staying in The Dalles for the summer so we will be back for sure!

A great hole-in the wall restaurant with fast service and tasty pho. I ordered the pho ga; was pleasantly surprised with the large portion of noodles and chicken. Broth tasted delicious as well. Veggies were fresh and clean. Perfect stop for anyone coming back from the outdoors looking for a warm, comforting meal.

Went to see what kind of pho was made there and i was not disappointed. Very homey and small business like and as far as I can tell it's only ran by 2 people. Against other reviews the people are very nice and straight to the point. The dishes are not dirty it's hard water stains from old equipment I have seen it before. The freash veggies like the basil and parsley and bean sprouts or ha d washed before given to you and are FREASH. This is a local small business that dosent get enough credit. Will be going again soon 💚💚💚

The Pho` is amazing and this comes from someone who grew up eating home cooked vietnamese food by people from Vietnam. I like how the man doesnt chit chat and gets to the point, while providing excellent service. I am there to eat, not have a therapist. Anyone who complains about not having salad dressing or "the food isn't good", lol, have you ever had authentic vietnamese food, that wasnt from a restaurant? I'll wait. This is 100% like what I grew up with, demeanor and all. And is my favorite vietnamese place in the whole hoodland area, actually.

I suggest giving this place a chance even if most reviews say otherwise. I LOVE Pho and I thought it was as delicious here as anywhere in Portland. The portions were of decent size and the broth was great! Lots of onions and large quantity of meat. I added tripe for $2.95 and there was probably 8 or 9 huge pieces which is far more than most other places. Service-wise, yeah, ok so the waiter wasn't exactly bubbly, but he wasn't rude either. He was fast and concise, which I can appreciate. He chatted with my husband while I was in the restroom and hubs said he seemed very nice. The restroom was clean and we did not experience the same issue that others have described regarding dirty silver and glassware. Everything was perfect!

The food is good the staff was very friendly.... We are spoiled in Portland for pho and bun, are there better spots sure. If you want to drive an hour and deal with Portland and crowded places. But this is a great local spot.
