Was delicious. Had a terrible Chinese when I first moved to the area from another restaurant. Was reluctant to order a Chinese since. Was recommended by a neighbour and it was delicious. Really lovely. Friendly staff on the phone and delivery. Delivery was an hour (just over) which is to be expected

Very friendly lady at the reception. She was very helpful and very lovely. The food was very nice and the vegetables tasted fresh. It was also not too salty : salt levels were good so I could decide to add more to my preference.
Of the Chinese restaurants in the area, this is our favourite. We always book a delivery and the lady that takes the order is so friendly. Portion sizes good. Always delivered hot and on time. My favourite dish being mixed veg chow mein Singapore style...nice and spicy.

We get take away from The golden Chef for years since we moved to Sandy. They are by far the best Chinese in the area and we always laugh with the lady at the phone.
Update, still love the food, still ordering vegetarian Singapore vermicelli, so tasty, I recommended the capital beef, its so delicious, the sauce is so flavorful, always The Golden Chef for our Chinese takeaway.
