Review Saxilby Fish & Chips - Saxilby

1st time using Saxilby fish and chips and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. The food was really tasty, big portions and very reasonably priced. The battered sausages were really nice they weren’t your usual cheap sausages they had spices in them. The only critique was I ordered a large curry sauce and didn’t think the pots were big enough but it certainly didn’t ruin what was a delicious meal.

Absolutely stonking fish and chips. Fish nice and crispy, the meat of the fish was moist and flavoursome. The chips were the perfect softness and crunch. The food was all served piping hot and a quick service. Definitely returning!

We looked for a chippy on Google & found this place. Not too far from where we were staying for a couple of nights. Some of the reviews were bad so we almost didn't go but...we wanted to decide for ourselves. Very pleased we did! Fish and chips twice with scraps! All very good, tasty, hot and plenty of it. Staff were lovely and polite. No complaints here. Definitely worth a trip.

Great fish and chips. The haddock here is quite delicious and the chips are tasty, the portions are quite large. I Asked for extra salt and vinegar, which hightnened the flavor. When I first got in line I was number 16, but the line moves swiftly i waited about 10 minutes total. Food is worth the wait. I will defiently come back for more.

Great fish and chips well worth the travel to get them . I had a share of cod and a share of haddock and I've got to say Haddock was a lot more tasty . Highly recommended

Heard good things about this chippy, so we tried it today, we was not disappointed very tasty fish and chips and we was not overwhelmed by the amount off chips. We shared a bag of chips

My son says give 5 but I'd give it a 4,alot of bruised chips and batter on fish not as lite and crispy as reviews said but good price and filling.

look i got fish and chips it was mid i can’t lie but this absolute elite specimen of a man with arms as thick as trunks served me i genuinely want his name. god the way he looked at me. would eat here again

I ordered fish and chips and they were really delicious, I will definitely go back if I'm in the area. The customer service was great and everyone was really friendly. When I ordered my fish I didn't realise they were closing but they offered to cook it fresh for me even though they were closing in 5 minutes.

1st time eating here the young lady who served me was extremely friendly and helpful. There fish chips and mushy peas are excellent I will be using your shop again
