Review Dambusters Inn - Scampton

Unique pub with loads of memorabilia of the dambusters. Steve the landlord gave us a tour showing us a wall dedicated to the brave young men on the crews. It has photos showing the ones who came home and survived the war, those who came home but died in subsequent missions and those who died on the actual dambuster raid. Very moving. Food was superb. Ale and wine selection great. Lovely pub. Garden area also looks good for summer. Open fire for winter.

Great pub, interesting history, lovely staff and high quality food. I went for the healthy baked fish option, with chips! We are regulars and always enjoy a good meal, recommended

I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat here, but it did look and smell delicious. The pub retains a wonderful atmosphere and an excellent selection of ales, wines and spirits. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the pace had a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Had an amazing time, everything was brilliant. The food was cooked beautifully and the place was filled with memorabilia that was amazing to see. The atmosphere was great. Service amazing. Well worth a trip to get some great food and see some history.

A thoroughly enjoyable birthday meal in a friendly, comfortable and very interesting pub and on the 80th anniversary of the dambusters raid. If you're interested in WW2 history and especially the RAF, Dambusters Inn needs adding to your bucket list.

Attended a work lunch here. AV nerd heaven. Food was incredible. I recommend the fish finger sandwich and the chips were the best I’ve ever had! Decent selection of ales too.

Exceptional customer service from the two bar tenders and restaurant staff..faultless. We had pre-booked. Started with king prawns. Delicious. Unfortunately the first choice main meal wasn't available and I choose an alternative....the pork . I found the dish too salty for my taste. I preferred the Malbec after tasting a few of the reds!

I had Sunday dinner here with two friends, a couple weeks ago. I told them it was the best Sunday roast I've ever had in a pub -- second only to the home-cooked roasts from my late mother and other friends of that older generation. The service was good, the food was excellent, and the setting is great. I highly recommend this place, not only for Sunday dinners but for others meals. (We eaten here in the past.)

Absolutly briliant food, plenty of choice and all excellent. A great selection of beers as well Lots of room and warm (rare these days to find a warm resteraunt !) Fastest service I've come accross anywhere, plenty of staff on and they couldn't have been any quicker. Lots if nice artifacts relating to Scampton and the dambusters, good to see thsy have kept the character with the extension Will certainly be back
