Golden Grid - Scarborough - Photo album

Seafoods are very fresh. We have mussle dish, the sauce is nice thick and creamy. Staffs are helpful and have service mind.
Had the scallops queenies in garlic and cream, beautiful, wife had the fish pie. Quick service considering how many people were in. Will definitely come again.
Superb food, especially the seafood casserole. Great service too. Highly recommended.
Amazing seafood restaurants right opposite the harbour. Very fresh seafood, decent price and portion, and it's very tasty.
absolutely amazing food ,we had a beautiful lunch ,service excellent ,and very quick ,would highly recommend ,lovely attentive staff ,definitely be back 😋
We first visited Golden Grid during lockdown and had to si outside. We ate excellent fresh oysters followed by traditional haddock and chips. We weren't disappointed during this visit. Oysters followed by spicy seafood casseroles....fabulous. Excellent service too from our super little waitress!
The food was reasonably priced with lobster being the exception. Mussels were good as well and it was a lot but on the small size. Lobster needed more garlic butter, but then again you can never go wrong with lobster. Lobster was bigger than the one I had for dinner the night before elsewhere. My so
This is not a swanky, fancy fish restaurant, it is an old school fish and chip cafe with delicious food and great service in a no frills 'but why do you need them' environment. We chose the small portion which is not mentioned on the menu, but is bargainous with more than enough food. It was very bu
Visited the restaurant twice within my stay in Scarborough. Nice friendly staff, clean and tidy restaurant. You can sit downstairs or upstairs depending on what your looking for. 1st time i had the fish and chips deal that included bread and butter and tea, the fish was cooked to perfection in a ni
I've come here a few times over the years and never had a bad meal or bad service. The food is beautiful, I had the creamy fish chowder this time and it was delicious. The kids menu has a good range of options and nice portion sizes and a good wine selection too. Friendly staff who serve you quickly
I ordered medium haddock which came with chips, and I ordered curry sauce as an extra. The fish was really large, juicy with lovely batter, and the chips were tasty. The sauce was nice and thick and tasted good. One of the best fish and chips I've tasted in ages. Will definitely return the next time
Welcome aboard to enjoy delicious seafood! The delicious food saved the day in Scarborough on a gloomy Sunday . The restaurant follows the design of a boat and the walls are nicely decorated with mirrors, lights, maps and art. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely, we will be back.
Came here a few times on our holiday in Scarborough and it was absolutely spot on every time. Best fish and chips in Scarborough out of everywhere we tried. Friendly staff and a lovely themed restaurant with so much history. Prices were affordable too and they offered great specials. Definitely woul
Now, there is no other fish and chip restaurant I’d visit here in Scarborough. The haddock and chips was PERFECT. Also tried a touch of the steak pie, and that comes highly recommended too - big slices of proper, shortcrust pastry pie, filled with tender juicy chunks of steak in a tasty gravy. Taken
Really nice steak pie, service friendly and priced reasonably for a seafront location. Fish and chips were also exceptionally good. Bit of a climb to the gents toilets for anyone unsteady on their feet
No ridiculous queue like the surrounding fish and chip shops. Quick service with a great view. Staff were very friendly. However, it was a little confusing how to order (if they come to us or we go to them). Would 100% recommend this place for an affordable meal. The food was delicious and wasn’t t
