Enjoyed our Saturday lunch of Posh Fish FInger Sandwiches today! A new place to add to our list of regulars. Wishing the cafe the best of luck - good food, lovely surrounding, friendly staff and above all a brilliant community enterprise. Well done!

Wow! What a delicious lunch! Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. We had the Seafood Platter and the Glorious Grains Scampi - soooo yummy. Lovely people and a brilliant little hidden jem away from the front in the newly refurbed Scarborough Market Hall. I wish we lived closer to have this kind of food, "made with love", every week. Thank you for a smashing lunch!

We came across the seafood social whilst visiting Scarborough for the day. Good food and I love the fact that profits go towards helping homeless people in the area. We had scampi and chips and salt and pepper popcorn shrimp. All of our food was cooked to order so nice and fresh at a good price. A great place to eat just off the highstreet.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on an evening hunt for food and glad we did. I enjoyed a well made and very tasty Southern fried fish burger with chips - tremendous value as you would expect and an extra bonus of supporting a good cause - we will definitely be returning now we know it's here in Scarborough. Friendly and excellent service too.

Absolutely brilliant service and food. Highly recommend. I don't usually like fish fingers but my husband wanted to try one of the street food options so I opted for them anyway and couldn't have been more wrong. They were cooked to perfection. I love that all their materials are recyclable, and the option to pay it forward by donating a meal is a lovely touch.

Our family of 4 visited The Seafood Social this week whilst in Scarborough. Having done some prior research on places to eat, this cafe was definitely on my list. The menu sounded delicious and I was sold on the fact that the profits from the business went to help the homeless in the local community. It certainly lived up to all expectations. We all sampled something different from the menu - bengali prawns, hot and spicy prawns and cod, cheddar and chive croquettes, which were all served with thick cut chips, rainbow slaw and chilli jam. We also had a children's portion of fish and chips for our toddler. The food was cooked fresh to order and was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were also very generous. We could not recommend this place more and we will certainly return again when in Scarborough

Hidden gem! Proper homemade stuff with friendly price. I'm here for lunch on Saturday, here have live music on ground floor. You can't easily find a place like this.
