Fairways Cafe And Takeaway

Stayed in Scarborough for two nights and visited fairways twice , owner was brilliant and friendly and the breakfast was huge and really good price cheapest around , was a great atmosphere in the cafe made even better by some local scaffolders and Bruce the dog waiting for his sausages, great little cafe well worth the visit

On a day trip to Scarborough we enjoyed lunch at this cafe on the corner close to the north bay. Nothing fancy but good honest food, plenty of it, freshly cooked to order and absolutely fantastic value. Service was very friendly and quick. It was obvious that many of the customers were regulars, which is always a good sign. Cash only. Closes at 2.30 pm. I'd definitely visit again.

We had a few nights in Scarborough and found Fairways close to the apartment we had booked. We had breakfast here each morning. The decor is a little dated but the food is fine. Good quality and plenty of it. We had the Special breakfast with 2 of everything, thick toast and a brew all for £5:50. It was enough to keep us going all day. As I said , don’t walk past because of the decor , you get good food and it is a fraction of the cost of what other places charge. Hope you enjoy as much as we did, you won’t leave hungry.
