Poachers Barn - Scarborough - Photo album

So I left a terrible review 2 days ago and the owner/manager reached out to me so I decided to ring him and give my honest review, we had a great chat and offered myself and my family to return to the pub for a complimentary meal! On arrival we was seated at a well set out table, Our drinks order w
Tbh looking at the reviews I was a little apprehensive but after a nice warm welcome I found the beer, gammon, egg and chips were all spot on. You can also take dogs in
What a beautiful hidden gem we have found. Booked our table, a warm welcome greeted us, they serve roast dinner only Sunday, which is just what we required as intrepid tourists. They checked my allergies and specially catered without any fuss and a smile, my potatoes, carrots and bto, especially coo
We visited Poachers Barn for a meal after arriving in the area for a holiday. Seemed a bit quiet for a Saturday evening, but the food was fantastic at a reasonable price. They got one order wrong but soon rectified it. Would definitely visit and dine here again when in the area.
Just had sunday lunch here. Truly enjoyed it. Excellent food really nice friendly staff spot on kept Guinness. Well done new ppl.
Wow, what a great pub, me, my partner and son stayed here for the weekend and all I can say what a great pub, the bar staff and locals are so welcoming. The food was lovely, the room was very spacious. Can't wait to come back and stay. Pity we can only give it 5 stars as it deserves more
Staff behind the bar, friendly and welcoming as always. Even thou they were busy, the wait for food was too long. I had the cowboy burger and my partner had the spicy burger, and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend, decent pub grub. 😁
What a lovely pub. Staff were extremely welcoming to my wife and I. DOGS we're WELCOME in either bar or the restaurant. The beer was very well kept, my wife said her white wine was very nice. The food was terrific value and very tasty. The locals deserve a mention too, they were all super friendly t
Clean and tidy pub with plenty of parking, but, very, very quiet for customers. Good choice of drinks, food menu has a good selection to chose from with reasonable prices and was value for money. Friendly staff member when he took the order, but, only down side is he spent the whole time we was ther
The cleaner was very nice and the workers even though he had to wait bed was comfy a walk in closet clean and drinks
After leaving a little disappointed last year, we returned this weekend to give it another go and it was absolutely gorgeous! Staff were incredibly friendly, especially the lady behind the bar (long dark hair in a pony tail). The food was spot on and service was brilliant, we will certainly be back!
We are staying nearby. Booked a table for tonight Monday 25th. Food was excellent and so was the service Lovely pub. Will definitely be booking again
Great little overnight motorhome stop for us. Tidy large flat carpark at rear of the accommodation part of the pub. No road noise and on a bus route to Scarborough and whitby. Hosts very welcoming. Chips were fab.
Stopped here for the night to goto see Tom Grennan at the Scarborough Open air theatre. Lovely pub with friendly staff and locals. The hotel itself was just what we needed, good sized family room, comfy bed and nice clean toilet/shower room. The bus stop was practically outside the pub to jump on the
Called in here on the way home for tea. food was lovely. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, just genuine, and what a lovely pub will definitely call back if I'm in the area again.
The Poachers was very quiet and although we only had a couple of rounds of drinks, the bottled beer was warm and we were given the wrong size glass of wine . Little or no atmosphere but the positive was the staff who were very friendly.
Lovely clean pub. The grub was high quality and the beer spot on and staff friendly and helpful. What more do you want :)
