Absolutely amazing place, interior was so thought out and gave an aesthetic vibe with the autumn/october season. Food was amazing and filling and tasted fresh. The staff were all so polite and kind at all times, no complaints for this place! Ps. Quick service for the food wasn’t waiting long at all!

The Grainary is an amazing hotel located in a beautiful valley in North Yorkshire. It’s a short drive from Scarborough with its sea front and attractions. The food was lovely and plentiful and the people that work there were so friendly and accommodating, we were really made to feel at home. The breakfast was outstanding the mushrooms were a particular highlight, plump and juicy cooked in butter. Lots of choice of both cooked to order plus all of the continental items laid out for you to sample. You must pay a visit the goats and pigs, the piglets are really cute and funny to watch. We hope we get to visit again and spend more time there soon.

This is the perfect choice if you want a peaceful, relaxing break from busy life. My husband and I enjoyed a night away without the children. We loved every aspect of our stay. It's very clean and comfortable. Good quality products such as great tea, coffee and biscuits in the room, temple spa toiletries and complimentary bottles of water. The decor is beautiful and it's very homely. We loved the location. Its quiet with amazing views of the countryside. Its a working farm and we enjoyed seeing the piglets, goats, sheep, donkeys and chickens There are some lovely walks through the grounds. You could also go for longer walks in the area but we opted to visit Whitby, which is only 13 miles away.

Amazing quality of food for somewhere that doesn't get the applause it should ! Came with friends and left feeling i had made some more ! Very relaxed atmosphere inside -with staff that go the extra mile to make sure everything is just spot on for you ! A rarity these days . Will be visiting again very soon .

I hardly ever leave a review but had to with this place. What a beautiful, special place this is. We stayed in the family room and couldn’t find any fault with it. It was so clean, the beds were really comfy and very good quality The views are stunning and the breakfast was fantastic. I’d 100% recommend staying here.

We visited the restaurant for lunch. We all ate the kofkas which were excellent. The portions were very generous and we all had to leave some food on our plates as we were full up. We all have hearty appetites I might add! We love the refurbished restaurant, the decor was lovely, as were the staff. Highly recommended. Best to book as the restaurant was full.

We stayed over for one night last Saturday (27/5/23) and will 100% be staying again. The staff were super friendly and nothing to much trouble. The evening meal was super delicious and the breakfast was just the same with plenty of variety (the chef definitely knows what he/she is doing). The rooms were pristine and it was the first time I've ever slept through when in a different bed. We 100% recommend this place and I wish all the team every success and we will see you again soon and thank you. Sean and Carol Wilson from Bolton, Lancashire. 😊
