Much improved Halloween and Xmas displays. They have an old Red bus for the children and a very nice play barn Halloween display which is free. In the main building there is a lovely Xmas list display for the children also free. Plenty of plants and the usual garden centre stuff. Excellent cafe with
I really like this place, it was homely and fun. Not as commercial as many other garden centres in the area, which I appreciated.
Phenomenal Christmas display - it is amazing! A credit to the staff who designed & created it. I love Christmas & I'd happily spend hours there! Plants also look very healthy and keenly priced.
Lovely visit, especially as they had their first event in the new event space - a table top sale with lots of different stalls ranging from drinks, food, jewellery, handicrafts, artwork and children's books/toys. Nice drink in the cafe.
Great assortment of plants, shubs, roses, and trees for all seasons. Houseplants, pots, fertilizer, and a lot more on display. Nice little farm shop and cafe inside. The entrance could be better signed, as it is hard to see when driving to it.
Great evening really well organised good atmosphere and very good talk about the different wines. Charcuterie platter was excellent and they happily catered for veggie and gluten free on our table! Excellent value for money.
The Halloween area was really good. Well worth a visit for their Christmas displays. Best we have seen.
My toddler and I went to Upcountry this afternoon to get our Christmas tree. The staff were super helpful, helping us to pick out our favourite tree from the "forest" outside. They bagged it up, carried it out to the car and put it in the boot for us! Then we had a great time looking at the Christma
Good range of plants. They sell large bags of Horticultural grit. Good service. Small grocery full of locally produced chutneys, marmalade, beers and veggies. Friendly staff.
Love going here . Such a wide variety of items on sale . Amazing Christmas wonderland display . Had lunch in the cafe , which we all enjoyed very much .
Nice little garden centre. Healthy-looking plants and a good variety too. Very good coffee in the café and lovely staff. All young and very helpful.
Absolutely amazing. We did the pumpkin patch and spooky bus and the inside Christmas decs was amazing
Such a lovely place ! Staff so friendly too .Also my ‘happy place’ at the moment for a Saturday lunchtime snack .The food is so good especially the toasties and cappuccinos and think I’ve just had the best carrot cake that I’ve ever tasted !
Attended a wine tasting evening at UpCoutry, hosted by Giles from South Downs Cellars. It was a lovely evening, lots of food and interesting wines. Excellent value for the ticket price.
Medium sized garden center with a nice size eatery-area. We had afternoon (cream) tea there, with sandwiches. I found the sandwiches nicely done, but the piccalilly and other decorations were overdone in my view. The toppings rose above the sandwiches, which were made with quite dry bread. The scone
Pet and equine barn is really good, great choice of riding gear and country boots. Garden centre is fairly small but, has everything you would need. Great little farm shop area. Good produce. Cafe is pleasing to call in for a quick afternoon bite.
