I have been here a few times recently. Great home cooked food. Lovely selection of ciders and beers. Friendly welcome from the owners who work hard. Clean with inglenook fireplace burning a gentle fire. Outside seating area is planted with seasonal flowers and is well maintained. Reasonable size car park but also easy to park on the street if car park is full.

Popped in for dinner and sat by a roaring beautiful open fire. Staff (and other local clients) were friendly and welcoming. Food was tasty, good quality, plentiful and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Called in last week for a midweek meal & drink, wasn’t disappointed, staff were friendly, as were the locals , food was good , howling wolf ale was even better

Nice place clean inside, clean up the carpark and the clutter from outside or hide it and it will present the pub better then it will be a sure 5 star
