First time I have been. Me & my friend were staying with family for a few days. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place. Food, presentation & service were excellent. Definitely want to go again when I am up in the future. My compliments to the Chef he is doing a great job.

From being shown to our table to service throughout you can't fault them. Friendly and efficient. The menu offers a good choice and is beautifully cooked and presented. Well worth our taxi trip from Richmond. If we lived locally we would return.
I really enjoyed my meal. The food combinations were unusual. The roasted sweetcorn puree was fantastic with the scallops. However, for the price I would have expected another scallop on the plate.
What great meal with real customer service! I went for the belly pork and my dining companion had the smoked haddock. Both of our dishes were delicious. I've eaten around Richmond alot and without doubt this was easily the best experience we have had. I cannot recommend highly enough. My only issue
We booked Sunday lunch over the bank holiday weekend. Although the pub was very busy, the service and food was faultless. The best Sunday lunch I’ve had in a long time. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. It was a really lovely experience.

What a find! Cosy little gem found in a little village. Food was amazing! We had the cheese soufflé and scotch egg to start and the fillet and lamb shank for mains. It was all delicious, I could have ate 5 soufflés. Will definitely be going again and would 100% recommend.
Best parmo I've ever had. Went with the family and the coconut prawns were amazing. Ordered the parmo for mains with jalapeños and it was absolutely gorgeous. The manager Adrian was friendly and service was excellent. Will definitely return so I can try other things on the menu 👍
Nice pub and restaurant on the Village Green in Scorton. Good drinks and food; would recommend the parmo even though some distance from Teesside! Pleasant seating at the front on the green for sunny days!

We don't eat out for Sunday lunch because it's never as good as I make myself. The Heifer is the exception to that - real Yorkshire pudding, generous portions, fresh veggies and a choice of meats.
