The atmosphere and decor were great, it was very relaxing and calm. Most of the food was very nice, 3 of us had the same food and all said that the leek was not cooked but everything else was very nice. In my opinion the wait between course was very slow, there not many other tables in that night and we seemed to wait forever between courses. This may be what you expect for this style of restaurant, but it is just my opinion. The staff were very polite, but they were constantly at the table removing cutlery or glasses and asking if everything was OK. For me, they should wait until the end of the course and remove everything or wait to be called over if we need something. It was dark on arrival and it was pretty hard to see the entrance to the car park.

We had a warm welcome on arrival and a wonderful lunch. It was a joy to experience such quality food, prepared with care, cooked with excellent culinary expertise, and presented with beautiful precision.
The front of house service was impeccable, informative, prompt, precise, yet friendly. A delight.
We travelled for over an hour to the restaurant and the journey was well worth it.
Our conversation on the way back home was all about the food.

Absolutely fantastic place compared to the other local offerings. Very clean rooms, near to major super market, friendly staff, and more importantly the food is astounding and despite the fact that it is a bit expensive, it is worth evertly penny

The best restaurant in Scunthorpe, the food is unforgettable. The flavours, presentation and fresh ingredients are what sets this restaurant apart, I'm Italian and I can say that it's real Italian food. The staff are great, super professional and friendly. The price is not cheap, but it is very worth it. You have to pay well if you want quality food. I highly recommend it, I hope to return soon.

We had our wedding day yesterday at San Pietro. The whole day and night was just amazing! Jenna is just the best and does everything to help the day go so smoothley and put you at ease and definatley takes any stress away from you! Barbara is also fantastic and made me feel so calm. The food, the rooms and the venue is just amazing, we will be back every year for our anniversary. Thankyou for everything we had the most special day 💛

I attended a wedding here on Saturday. Function was just about right and lead into a nice garden area, so it didn't feel too crowded. Bar service was good and drinks prices about what you would expect for a hotel. The standard of decor and attention to detail was very good.
Just an observation on the upkeep. The entrance looked like it could have done with a sweep and vac and also the paved area and dwarf walls in the garden area could have done with some TLC in the form of a jet wash, just to bring it back to new.

First time guest at this restaurant, and was extremely impressed by both the dining experience and the extremely helpful and friendly staff. It always pains me when people complain about the prices when the food is this good. I can sincerely say I am looking forward to visiting this place again.
