Worth noting that this business came under new management in April 2024 so previous reviews aren’t really relevant. I’ve been visiting this village for 40+ years and at last…. A decent fish & chip shop! I’m gluten free and the range is second to none, my friends had the standard fish & chips and raved about it. Service is friendly, prices fair for the quality (about £12 large f&c) and the updated decor looks great too. Our food was cooked fresh to order and the fish itself was fresh and perfectly cooked, flaking at the touch of a fork.

Recently re-opened after a change of management and refurbishment. The cod and chips were the best I have had in ages, the chips were freshly cooked and the cod wasn't oily at all. The new look is spotless and welcoming and the opening hours are much more accommodating. Highly recommend.

We spent an hour here sat outside in the sunshine eating takeaway chips and enjoying a cold can of Pepsi. The chips were delicious. There was a water bowl for the dog. Prices are reasonable £6 for chips and 2 cans of pop.

We've eaten here many times over the last few years. The food is always really nice we haven't had a bad meal at all. It can get busy and sometimes they run especially when it's a really nice day and the beach front is busy. There are tables outside to sit and eat and these become available regularly and quickly. If you're visiting the area then I highly recommend stopping here for fish and chips.

A great fish and chip shop when visiting the beach. The shop was busy when we visited but the wait was short. Despite being busy the standard was good, we had decent portions of well cooked chips and the price was very reasonable. I would visit again but I think as I write this review (and it's nearly lunch time) I would rather go to the bistro next door. A good chip shop though and I would recommend them.

Lovely fish and chips. The first was the perfect amount of light and crispy.

Popped here on a Friday night with the girls, for a beach walk and food. Chips were spot on, fish was cooked well with a lovely batter, although smaller than some other chip shops, was still tasty, and the curry sauce was banging. Met the owner too, nice chap, he said he’d look me up for some work on his truck.

5 star fish and chips, pleasant and polite service. Good value for money and adequate portion size. Only quibble was the lack of cold drink selection as the fridge was very sparse. Will visit again in the future.

They were very kind and stayed open an hour after they were due to close. Good chips, reasonably priced. The manager has a good sense of humour.

Great fish n chips here! Visited just before closing at 7:30 pm on the first night of our holiday, all really hungry. Pubs were fully booked, so this place was a life-saver. Reasonable waiting time. Golden crispy batter, generous portions. Very tasty! Recommended.

We didnt eat from there but took the micky and sat on their bench. Got talking to one of the men about my dog Brandy as he also has the same breed, the bloke was so kind took his time to feed Brandy small pieces of sausage then later in the day a chicken burger. It was lovely to see as Brandy is a very shy and sensitive dog especially to men. Also on top of that we got our own concert from an Andrew Tate look alike 😂, singing his heart out while working. It was a lovely day in the gorgeous sunshine, will defo be coming again!!!
