The prices online were lower than the price in store and the manager refused to honor the price.

I work in the area, so have tried a fair few Delis nearby. My stores preferred Deli started to shift during covid and fell out of favor, and so me and my co-workers began the arduous quest for a good sandwich. At this juncture, we've got to J&G probably about 4 times. I've personally had the Italian (What I consider the universal point-of-reference for a Deli) and their Italian Mozz (Cutlet, fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers) and both were great. Perfect faire, and enough to cement this as our new go-to.
Today, I went on a wild hare. I ordered the Spicy Beef Hero. I took my first bite and felt what I surmised to be what my Ancestors must've felt when they felled a mammoth. It was everything it said on the tin, hot, spicy, and with beef. But that's only partial information. The absolute symphony of flavor left me dumbstruck. The pickles and peppers were stars of the show, and really bring a brightness against the meat and pepper jack. The Chipotle mayo throws down and carries flavor throughout the whole sandwich.
It's just brilliant. Best sandwich I've had in years, and I eat sandwiches with a zealous fervor. Warren Zevon imparted a wisdom upon us long ago, to enjoy every sandwich. I have never enjoyed a sandwich with such ferocity in my life. Maybe it's because it was Monday, and I was fiending for the respite lunch brings. Or maybe the stars were aligned right, and my sandwich was the locus of all flavor in the universe.
I just think they make a mean sandwich.

Ughhhhhhh GOSH I love this place so much it makes me mad I can’t eat here more frequently. We order from this place for lunch at my job whenever we’re craving deli/sandwiches. My coworkers have all agreed that this is now the go-to deli in the area for us.
Their Long Islander sandwich is TOO GOOD!!!!! It’s not something I would usually order since it’s a little unique but I tried it one time and ohmygod it’s phenomenal???
It’s a good thing l don’t live closer because I would give this place all my money, I swear.

J & G's is literally one of if not the best deli's on Long Island. The members are extremely nice and polite. They make you feel like part of the family. They have the best sandwiches without a doubt. That's why I always order from them. I've tried majority of the sandwiches from J & G's

1st time to go to this amazing Deli! I ordered a delicious pastrami sandwich. I can say that this is the best pastrami sandwich I ever tasted. I really didn’t want it to finish. They have many food selections. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The place is clean and smells great. Everything was perfect. I will definitely be a loyal customer.

This place is a great deli. I have just found this gem and I am so glad I did. I was impressed with the Italian stallion when I ordered on door dash, and had to go back. I got the chicken bullet and it was another great sandwich. Prices are great, sandwich selection is huge, and the sandwiches are plenty big. They don’t cheap out on the meat like other deli locations do. Staff is nice and I will be back again soon!

Solid deli sandwiches. Check out my pics. They put like a half a pound of meat on every sandwich, use fresh bread every day. The ownership changed a little over a year ago. I didn't know the last ones but the new guys here are great. Very friendly, they work hard and are fast and accomodating. I cane with my little girl and they set her up with a nice grikked cheese and a drink, even gave her a lollipop. Went out of their way to make us welcome and well fed. I'll be sure to come here every time I'm in the area.
