Haddock, cod, plaice excellent. Chips never greasy and traditional thick cut - not French Fries matchsticks - with crispy bits as well. All available 7 days a week
Really nice fish and chip shop. The fish was fantastic with a light crispy batter! Good value with friendly staff. Will definitely visit again when I'm next in the area.
Usual mixed reviews so gave it a go. Happy with the portions and quality of fish and chips. Only criticism being that they didn’t put enough salt and vinegar on. But this seems common “plaice” haha, these days. Maybe I’ll ask for extra next time.

Superb! Couldn't fault it. Piping hot, perfectly cooked, not greasy at all. Beautifully seasoned. (Had 2 medium cod & chips, 2 kids cod & chips and spam fritters & chips, with mushy peas and a picked egg.) Portion sizes were generous.
I had a large order to place. The staff were polite and accommodating. I didn't wait very long and the fish and chips were delicious, beautifully cooked, crispy batter, tasty white and flaky cod, fell apart in your mouth. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle .HIGHLY RECOMME

Friendly service and always hot , the cod is good and the sausages in batter are really good.
The chips are good but sometimes you get a few to many crunchy bits.
But overall a good chippy.
There OAP and kid meals are superb value for money.
