Lovely renovation of a lovely little cafe situated in the beautiful Seaham.
The decor inside is stunning and the owners have clearly spent a few pounds modernising the place since I last visited! It has a very warm and welcoming feel to it.
The Car park is huge and you couldn't be located closer to a more stunning sea view than visiting this lovely, warm establishment.
I only tasted the coffee, to drink in and to takeaway. However they have a full menu of delicious delights to choose from.
Highly recommend visiting. Very friendly and welcoming staff too.

Stopped for lunch prior to doing an interesting Treasure Trail around the town. Nice place, nice staff, good food & drink. I had the corned beef pie, chips & beans, plus an after eight hot chocolate. All delicious, good sized portions, set me up for the rest of the day. Parking right outside, highly recommend

1st time here after passing by numerous times. Awesome place. Had a lovely cheese and ham toastie with caramelised onions which was very tasty and a flat white which was divine and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

We've been again today and as always they were busy but we managed to get a table. The staff were busy but took our order quickly and we both enjoyed our drinks and muffins. As every time we've been, brilliant service. Happily recommend. Added a few more photos

Just discovered this lovely cafe after a recommendation. It's in a beautiful location on the coast. Very friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Smart interior with quirky decor. Serves great coffee, cakes etc, and breakfasts are super. Prices are also competitive. Will definitely be back. Recommend you pay a visit.

Awesome service. They were really accommodating when I asked for a modified lunch of tuna mayo on salad rather than in a baguette. Really polite, super prompt service. My partner's panini looked delicious. Oh, and bloomin'lush take away coffee in the perfect location.
Definitely check out this place.
(Picture shows half of panini. Char couldn't wait!)

Called in for Father's Day breakfast with the family arrived around 10.10am and was promptly seated place was very busy but our order was taken quickly and drinks arrived soon after the coffee is very strong 👌, The wait for food took a little longer than expected and my 8yr old was growing impatient but when it arrived he was more than happy he had the full English and said the Sausage & Bacon where tasty, I went for the Veggie breakfast which was very nice tho could have been hotter, one strange issue we had was the breakfasts are advertised to come with 2 eggs but we only had 1 we enquiried and was told by I think may have been the cook that it was a typo and you only get 1 egg when it's busy! Strange maybe they only have so many eggs so as not to run out you only get 1 still the menu should say this....But apart from that minor issue all was good.

Absolutely beautiful coffee and the food is so tasty too. Will definitely be returning. Inside the bar is very nicely decorated and clean and the outdoor seating is a huge plus in this hot weather.

Just enjoyed a spicy bean burger, fries and a side of delicious coleslaw. Everything was perfectly cooked and served quickly. As a vegetarian with a selection of 5 veggie burgers I was spoilt for choice. Husband had chicken and bacon burger which was bursting from the lovely brioche bun. Not wanting chips extra salad was served. Great place great food.

Been going on several occassions but today very disappointed. Cake we had was small portion compared to previous visits. Certainly wasn't worth the price charged. Cake was dry on outside and not very moist.

Fantastic place with great views! Child friendly! Food was amazing, especially the broth, equally matched customer service and reasonably priced too! Free parking and the best place to collect sea glass is only metres away!! A little gem!!

Me and my husband visited for the first time yesterday on our first trip to Seaham. We used Google Maps to find a suitable place to park which had to have somewhere near by to eat straight away as we had a long journey to come and find seaglass! This looked the perfect place and we weren't disappointed. It was very busy being bank holiday Monday, but managed to find a space in the car park and were greeted by a lovely clean cafe with plenty of seating. We were served quickly by a young lady with blonde hair who apologised that there was a 10 minute wait on food. Not a problem, it was busy after all, but great customer service to be informed. We had a delicious panini each with chips, salad and coleslaw, well worth what we paid. The same young lady came and took our tray away as I preparing to take it up.
We returned later on for ice creams, sadly mine seemed very icy with lots of frozen ice particles making it rough, but still nice, husband had no problems.
Only down side was the toilets, had to queue both times I went as only 2 available, but this was due to people who possibly weren't customers using them. They were very dirty on the floors, presumably from water from the sink being mixed with dirt from people's shoes. The men's/disabled toilet (people were using both this and the ladies/disabled) smelt strongly of urine. However, this is just a small moan, having the facilities there far outweighs any problems and with the staff being busy they cannot be in two places at once....let alone clean them when they're so busy!! Would definitely return on any future visits :)

On a freezing cold day, we were warmed up by the very good home made ham broth with a huge bread roll and a cheese scone. Good value and great view out to sea. Worth a visit.

Little haven of tranquility this! I had a gorgeous walnut, pear and goats cheese salad, slice of rhubarb and ginger tart with cream, and a nice cup of coffee. We took pecan and fudge cake home. Will make a point of calling again on our next trip to Newcastle.

First visit to Tonia's and very impressed. My husband and I both ordered the full English breakfast (£5.50) the quality of the meat was fab , no scrimping on the portion size either. Well done. Won't hesitate to pay a visit next time we're here on holiday.

Very large party of us ended up here yesterday (10 adults, 7 children), and had a lovely time! The Nutella waffles were amazing, perfect birthday treat for the 10 year old birthday girl. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

Lovely staff, lovely setting & a lovely breakfast. We will be back to sample the cakes. Lemon cake looked very appetising, shame I had no room left for a slice.
