Came here with my family and mother-in-law. Felt welcome as soon as we entered the pub. Fabulous, attentive staff, we were served by Nicola, who ensured everything was perfect. Food was excellent and great value for money. Will definitely return again, when we are next in Seaham.

Came for lunch on Sunday October 1st and was like old times wirh Eve who was originally manager at the Wessie. Service was exceptional and Sunday lunch was lovely- as per usual. Great to see Eve again and will be back.

The establishment was very clean, tidy and staff attentive to our needs. There was more than one member of staff on hand to take our drink and food order. They were happy for me to substitute chips for a jacket potato without butter, which a lot of restaurants would have not. Meals came within a short time and were perfectly cooked. A staff member came to ask if everything was alright, which was nice. All staff were polite, smiling and professional, we were even given a sample of a Christmas cocktail to sample! Lots of events advertised, Christmas meals, forthcoming entertainment and toilets were very clean too. My Daughter and two young Grandchildren visited from the Midlands recently and loved The Crows Nest. We had three lovely meals and the children especially loved the magic show on the 25th August, they hope to return soon and would love to come for Christmas Day lunch.
