First visit in a long time. Have to say the shop was busy but the staff had a system in place which meant the queue was quickly moving. The food also was a delight. A highlight for my partner was they sold bottles of sasparilla something he hadn't seen in years. The fish was perfectly cooked and the portion size was perfect for everyone. We will be back.
First time trying this place and I wasn't disappointed. Had large Cod and Chips and the Cod was cooked perfectly, Chips were great too. I will definitely pop in again next time I'm in the area.
Lovely fish shop with reasonably priced food which is not easy with the price of everything going up. Staff are very friendly and the place was clean and tidy.

I have tried most of the fish and chip shops in this area, I've got to say this is the best.
Only tried it recently, as they have just started home deliveries. Waited just over 30 minuets, and the food was fresh and hot.
The food comes in cardboard containers, so no need for plates.
The food is delicious, batter crisp, and melts in the mouth. The fish is full of flavour. Moist and large Lilly white flakes of fresh cod.
The chips were cooked to perfection in clean oil, and they tasted amazing, with lots of salt and vinegar. And scraps of course.
Peas are old fashioned "steady peas" well seasoned and and not to sloppy.
We have been here twice now, and will make this our go to "chippy"

Not been in this particular Fish Shop for several years, but found the staff to be very pleasant and the fish and chips were really nice.
Close on sunday but good food over all.
Visited this chip shop on my way to seaham beach. OMG it is amazing I will certainly be back. Myself and my family had a variety of meal and we couldn’t fault anything at all 5⭐️
