Brilliant pub, brilliant staff, can't comment on the food cos I've never had it but I've heard that's brilliant too, so full marks from me!

It was a Christmas special. 3 courses and a turn. Great food, great host in Gordon, as always and super staff. A great night out!
Had a beef sundays dinner today at the mallard and it was exceptional.
Really high quality meat. Huge fluffy pudding and perfectly cooked potatoes and veg. The gravy was full of flavour.

The new look pub is lovely, more choice of drinks and more TV's allow for multiple channels, the new opening times accommodate for a new food menu and more family friendly. We turned up to try food at 6 one day to find the menu was 12-5 which I was not aware of (bar Thursdays which is 3-8pm) however
