The food was amazing, service brilliant. We enjoyed our 5* meal and our dog was allowed with us in the bar area. The restaurant area looked amazing. The staff are very friendly. Cocktails also amazing. Hidden little gem. So pleased we found it.

Booked in advance. Brilliant Service. Requested a table in the Orangery. Yes a tad pricey, but when you see and taste the food you know why. The decor makes it, classy without being stuffy. Absolutley loved it. it was less than fish n chips and 3 teas from a local fish n chip restaurant!! so if you want a little bit more fancy for a special night out, look no further. Will go again without no exception! Nearly forgot, keep the background music 50s 60s 70s had us guessing who sang the songs, all good memories

Absolutely fantastic! We booked lunch here for after our farne islands boat trip. It's a 5 minute walk from the harbour. Welcoming staff on arrival, lovely decor inside. The menu's are vast. There are choices from burgers to steak and then the most fabulous seafood! We of course went all seafood, each dish was delicious and cooked to perfection. We had fresh and Rockefeller oysters to start followed by mussels, half a lobster and a cod dish with softshell crab. When we're ever visiting 'up north ' again we will be sure to book a table!

We booked lunch here post our puffin tour. The interior is cozy and split effectively into three different areas. Although we booked the orangery, we were given the choice of where to sit. The food was quite expensive, but our meals were tasty and well prepared. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

Third time we'd been. Love it. Last time, we chanced asking for lobster as you need to prebook and they said yes and they did an off menu item for a friend who did not like any of the starters. Food was as good as ever. We eat in the bar area as we have a dog with us. Always friendly with a good atmosphere. Not the cheapest but the food is well worth it. Definitely (and have done so) recommend.

Superb refurbishment, and presented to a very high standard. Menu looks amazing ( Only went to try drinks ). Cannot fault this new bar / restaurant, however my only concern is that maybe prices do not reflect the current climate , and are a tad on the High sides ( as we found out when ordering drinks ). The niche status The Black Swan will no doubt draw in a certain paying clientele - I wish it well

Great spot in Seahouses. Lovely atmosphere, style, music and spectacular food. Had the lamb rump and wow! It didn’t disappoint. Would absolutely come back. Also decent ales, lagers and IPA on tap. Thank you very much Black Swan Inn!
