We popped in here for the first time after a long walk, we decided to share a grazing board and wow this is by far the best I've ever had anywhere! Excellent value for money, tasty and fresh. I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely love this place. I travel to Hartlepool regularly from London to visit family and we eat here every visit without fail. The staff are always so friendly and the food and drinks are always 5*. I asked for a strawberry daiquiri which I didn’t realise wasn’t on the menu but Micheal accommodated regardless and made me the most delicious strawberry daiquiri EVER! Look forward to many more visits here :-)

What a nice place this is. Not alot of choice around this area for food apart from fish and chips shops, so we decided to try this small hidden gem. Not a disappointment I'm telling you, lovely staff all of them and food was fabulous, not more to comment on but if your in hartlepool this is a definite place to eat and drink. Nice music and very nice food. Staff are very good I must say. Well done to them. Very reasonable price too. Just to say as we were eating and the guy who served us had to leave which I presume was his daily shift and he still asked us if we were OK and the food ok. Top marks to this place really

If it's too cold in outside, to eat the excellent fish and chips from the Almighty Cod, this is the place. For less than £9 you get two big pieces of fish, plenty of chips - along with scraps and mushy peas. They even give you two flour tortillas, and although I'd prefer white, buttered bread, there's nothing wrong with a chip taco. Good service and choice of hot and cold drinks too.

This was my first visit to the newly opened Hidden tap and WOW, it will not be the last! I am a wheelchair user and was glad to see that not only is it a step free venue, but they also have a lovely spacious accessible toilet too. Obviously with the bar being a micro cafe/bar, it is quite small - however staff were more than accommodating! We went for the fish and chips, which did not disappoint. The homemade chunky tartare sauce was out of this world. By far the best we have ever tried. Huge portion sizes and brilliant value for money. We also managed to sink a few of the 2 for £10 cocktails, which were just as good. They were freshly made with real fruit and good measures. We can't wait to visit this hidden gem again!

Didn't eat but good did actually look amazing, there's board games to play which we enjoyed, and tea coffee cold drinks and a nice IPA by crafty monkeys brewery. Parkings a bit of a squash, not my last visit here, I will be back soon
