My recent visit to Cutters Crabhouse in Seattle was a delightful experience overall, thanks to the fantastic food and impeccable service. However, I must express a bit of disappointment regarding the seating arrangements.
The culinary journey began on a high note as we savored the delectable offerings on the menu. The freshness of the seafood and the skillful preparation truly showcased the chef's expertise. From start to finish, each dish was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality.
Our servers were attentive and friendly, ensuring our dining experience was enjoyable. Their recommendations were spot-on, enhancing the overall enjoyment of our meal.
Now, the only hiccup in an otherwise stellar experience was our seating situation. Despite our reservation and the fact that the restaurant appeared to be not even half full during our 1.5-hour stay, we were unable to secure a table by the window. We were informed that the window seats were fully booked.
While I understand that reservations and availability can be unpredictable, it was disheartening to see a significant number of empty tables by the window throughout our visit. The ambiance and view would have undoubtedly elevated our experience, and it was disappointing that this option seemed unavailable despite the apparent availability.
Despite this minor setback, Cutters Crabhouse remains a top-notch dining destination in Seattle. The food and service undoubtedly make it a place worth revisiting. I hope that the issue with window seating can be addressed to ensure that every guest has the opportunity to enjoy the full charm of this waterfront establishment.

Fantastic place to go for a Thanksgiving brunch or dinner with an amazing view. Great service and delicious prix fixe menu - this year it was salmon a couple of different ways, steak and shrimp, or traditional turkey.

I had dinner at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and provided great service. I tried oysters for the first time, and it was nice that I could order them individually. I went with baked Halibut, and the fish was cooked perfectly and was fresh. Great spot for a nice dinner along the water.

Crab Sampler was Delicious. The crab artichoke dip was delicious and so was the clam chowder. Smoked bourbon old fashioned was also very good.

Cutters came recommended by multiple people at our hotel and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Our waiter was excellent. The fool was delicious!! We sat next to a window overlooking the water so it made for a better dining experience. I would come back to Cutters next time I am in Seattle. A++

White linens, fresh seafood. Perfect.
I wa skeptical ordering the black cod: few restaurants are worthy of serving this fish.
I was wonderfully surprised at how good it was. And a beautiful presentation.
We also indulged in raw oysters and a great WA merlot. A perfect gathering of friends and family.

I have a gluten sensitivity, and going to restaurants can be scary for me. I really wanted the filet here, but the demi sauce contained gluten. BUT I love my sauces! I explained my sensitivity to our server Tina who talked to Chef Patrick and Chef came out to our table and spoke with me about my food sensitivity challenge and he ended up creating a special steak sauce that was gluten free just for me and it was fabulous! This was the best service I have received at a restaurant overall and because of this, our experience and food was exceptional. My husband had the seared Mahi mahi wirh apples and sun dried cherries which was also excellent!

This may have been the best restaurant experience ever! First, a HUGE thank you to Ben, our server. He was hands-down the best
server I've ever had in my many years of life. Personable, efficient, great recommendations, everything.
We got there early for our reservation because we wanted to have a drink and appetizer during Happy Hour. It was full but were eventually able to. JD was a great server there. I had the Old
Fashioned, which was very good. My daughter had the Moscow Mule. Both were a pretty heavy pour so no skimping during Happy Hour! We ordered the Crab Hushpuppies. Probably the only not perfect thing was that while they were excellent Hushpuppies, you couldn't really taste crab.
Then on to our regular table. With Ben's recommendations, I ordered the Wedge Salad (so much lettuce I could not eat it all!). I don't usually love blue cheese dressing, but it was very good. I had the the Mussels appetizer as my main dish. Spicy Red Coconut Curry was outstanding! It
definitely had a kick, so we had to order some bread, but very tasty. My daughter ordered the Caesar Salad with Coho Salmon. The best
grilled Salmon ever. The technique for grilling was perfect and not overcooked. Too full for dessert!
Excellent experience!
UPDATE - Our second time dining. Again, a wonderful experience! These wait staff and hosts are nothing short of amazing in their service (especially Tayler and Brett)!
We had drinks and appetizer at Happy Hour. (Can only get Happy Hour in the bar area) This time we got the the Exotic Mojito and the Botanical Berry Mule. Both were delicious. I’m not a huge fan of flavored Mojitos, but the Passion Fruit and Mango purée added extra fruitiness without taking away the mojito flavors. The Mule was a bit tangy due to the large piece of candied ginger and was delightfully refreshing. We ordered the edamame- it was perfectly simple with just sea salt seasoning. Very nice.
We got our perfect window seat (Thank you Tayler!) for dinner. It is so hard to decide what to get at this restaurant- everything sounds amazing. Brett, our server was very helpful in helping us decide.
We started with the Wedge Salad (see my review above) and the new Torched Fig Salad. The Fig salad was huge, and there was a good amount of blue cheese crumbles and craisins. There were so many walnuts! There were fresh figs on the side of the plate and they went perfectly with the salad. The vanilla fig vinaigrette also complemented the lettuce and wasn’t heavy on the vanilla.
We also ordered the mussels (see my review above), because they are so perfect. I also ordered a glass of Chateau St Michele Dry Riesling (which is a local winery but I buy it in the stores in Florida - it’s THAT good). I can’t tell you how perfectly that paired with the mussels. The slightly sweet wine with the spicy red curry was a match made in heaven. Highly recommend.
We shared the Seafood Trio for main course. There were 4 pieces of Grilled Shrimp, 2 scallops and a decent sized piece of salmon. We substituted more veggies for the rice. There were several types of vegetables which was great. They were cooked but not mushy. The Salmon was perfectly cooked and not dry or over cooked (medium rare). The shrimp was grilled and nice - not much seasoned so it was all shrimp. The scallops were small and not terribly flavorful.
That was so much food we couldn’t eat dessert. This is a really consistently good experience!!

It's a nice restaurant , a pretty good atmosphere, low lighting and the views are great. The service was awesome, and the food was good. We had 🍣 sushi clam chowder, lettuce wedge, and oysters. The oysters were the best.

It is an iconic spot in Seattle with wonderful views that I enjoy going to when I visit Seattle. The food is excellent and they have a wonderful wine list. On this visit enjoyed some very fresh Kumamoto oysters and the Halibut.
Would have given it five stars but think it is slightly too expensive for what you get but you will still leave satisfied.
