Stopped here unexpectedly for lunch with some friends and it was great. Lovely spot, good service even shorthanded and my salmon sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. Top it off with house made chips and I was hooked! Worth a stop.

I will definitely be coming back to the Virginia Inn! I have been wanting to eat there since watching the movie Singles where two of the main characters sit in a booth there. Not only was the food absolutely spectacular, our server, Amber was absolutely fantastic. She treated us like family and answered any questions my mom and I had. We had never been there so we had no idea what to expect. She was very patient with us and extremely polite. My mom and I went there to celebrate my birthday a day early and Amber brought out our dessert with a surprise birthday candle in it. We talked with her for quite a while and now her and I are Instagram friends. There are some people you meet in life that you just instantly relate to and become friends with. Amber is one of those people! Thank you for a wonderful experience and I absolutely cannot wait to be in Seattle again so I can visit the Virginia Inn :)

Very cozy! I came across this place after braving some cold, wet, and windy weather while walking from Pikes Market. I was immediately greeted by a friendly host with a touch of southern charm. I ordered a Hot & Totty that instantly warmed me up. The combination of ginger, lemon, and bourbon was perfect for such a rainy occasion. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits. They are absolutely to die for! It’s just spicy enough to make you your tongue say hello but not overpowering. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, which made for an overall wonderful experience. I will be finding an excuse to visit here frequently because it’s that good!

We were visiting Vancouver from Toronto for a week and decided to have a Seattle day! Found this gem, simply because we asked someone a good place to eat, turned out to be the owner of the Virginia Inn.
The food was fantastic, service was excellent and atmosphere was warm and inviting! Nice spot to have a couple drinks and some great food

Delicious veg frittata with one of the best mimosas I have had. Very helpful friendly staff plus a bonus chat with the owners wife. So refreshing.
great, attentive service. Definitely recommend!

My favorite thing about this place was the atmosphere but the food and service were great too. It feels like a cozy home town restaurant in the middle of the city with sunny windows and plants hanging from every nook and cranny. Urban jungle meets grandmas house in the best way. We had eggs Benedict, one traditional and one vegetarian. Decently priced for the city, good food, friendly and attentive service during Saturday brunch rush. I plan to return.

Found this place with one of my apps. It's hard to find restaurants that have food that is gluten, egg and dairy free when I travel, so I was quite happy to see that this place has gluten free fish n chips! Not the best ones I've tried, but still a good option for me for food. It was quite busy, so a little slow on the service. Nothing special about the atmosphere at lunch time in the summer.

Close to Pikes Market and all the action, with plenty of room to sit (indoor or outdoor) and great food/drinks. We ordered the classic Eggs Benedict, Greek Yogurt, Fruit & Granola and two Italian sodas and we were very happy with everything! Also, great, attentive service. Definitely recommend!

Great food and service. The menu has a good variety of options and the food is outstanding. Service is excellent as well.
It's a bit pricey as is expected for this part of town, but it's definitely worth a visit.
