Delicious pizza (4 ⭐️). A little too much bread for me, but legit may be the best pizza sauce I’ve ever had. Smooth, slightly sweet, robust ripe tomato flavor. The thin crust was perfect. Drinks were awesome (hot toddy please!). The Chicago pizzas were delicious and worth trying. I’ll order little more cheese/sauce/toppings next time. Texture of the crust was great too. This is a 4.5 star review all things considered.

This place is a hidden gem in Phinney Ridge. We ordered a large pizza and it was enough for four people. Pizza was so rich with tasty flavors. Friendly staff, cozy environment to spend time with your family and friends. Highly recommend to try it.

Solid pizza! Serving both bar style pie and Chicago deep dish. The topping options didn’t overly excite me but overall a better than average pizza place in Seattle.

Super yummy pizza! They greet you with a genuine smile. High quality ingredients. We tried the thin crust one as it takes less than the deep dish one, but next time we will dare to wait! You can’t go wrong.

Awesome pie! I have never been to the Windy City but if the pies here represent the Windy City, I need to go! We had the Beers by Shrute salad and the Mama Mia pie- The people here were very friendly and recognized prior customers. I also had the traditional shot of malört- which kinda reminds me of absinthe and the night was memorable!

A very different deep dish pizza typically when I think of deep dish the sauce is the star of the show however, this pizza is very very doughy. I got the pepperoni and it is very similar to pizza from Central market now town and country if you go here, you have to get the tavern pizza it is far better than the deep dish. Just had another pie on 10/29/23 seems to be if you order a full pepperoni pie it’s more Chicago style however still very very bready. Just know that when ordering. The thin crust is nice.

Great place!! I’m on a quest for decent pizza in Seattle, and this place definitely was a hit! When I saw that they had Chicago style thin crust and not just deep dish, I suspected I might have found a gem of a place, and I was right! Yes I’m from Chicago, and if you are too then you know most pizza places in Chicago are not deep dish, nevertheless Chicago has its own style of thin crust, and it’s my favorite pizza. I had the sausage and giardiniera pizza which is a classic combo for me. It’s a little on the spicy side and they put basil and parmesan on top of it which struck me as odd, but the pizza was excellent!! The crust was also a little too airy for Chicago style; but I don’t want to nitpick. The server was friendly and not a hipster and that’s already 5 million times better than your average Seattle pizza place. Restaurant is on top of a hill right next to a zoo and a park with sweeping views of the lakes and mountains on a clear day. Interior was cozy and well decorated and felt warm and inviting. The pizza was on the smaller side but very rich and not particularly expensive. I will be back here for SURE!

Very good pizza; it's unique and different from what you'd typically call Chicago-style. It's certainly Chicago inspired though, and reminded me of a little slice of home.

Chicago deep dish is having a moment, but do not sleep on the tavern style here! So damn good! And the kale salad is the Caesar you never knew you wanted! Solid, fun beer list and great cocktails; all served up by a very fun, fast, and friendly staff!
