This eatery has standard Italian fares including pasta, subs, pies and salads. For whatever reason, the place doesn't seem to ever be full but the food wasn't disappointing. The pasta carbonara and Italian sub both passed our tasty test. Great coupons on the takeout menu. Allegra lost a star due to the brusque waitress, she could have turned up the charm and attentiveness a few notches.

This place is perfect for great Italian food and good service. We've been looking for a great little "mom and pop" type place with "mom and pop" prices. Though it doesn't seem to be owned and run by an elderly couple, we've finally found our new Italian spot. Their happy hour menu is huge and the portions are huge. What a steel! I highly recommend this place and don't forget to buy their carrot cake.

The interior felt a little formal for dropping after a run. Got pizza and an appetizer, the pizza was really good, with a great crust. A 12" was twice as much as I needed after a run around Green Lake and they went all out making us feel welcome there.
