Maritime Pacific Brewing Co.

This week I hosted a Cribbage Meetup group event here. The venue worked out perfectly for the seven of us. They have large tables that were spaced apart. The place was not crowded at all so we all enjoyed the fact we could hear each other conversation during game play. Food was good - where ELSE in Seattle can you get a $7.50 burger ($8.50 deluxe) that is worth eating in a sit-down restaurant. The beer selection was good - enjoyed the Skeleton Stout Nitro - nice chocolate, oatmeal flavor that was not smokey. Recommended for similar group events.

I have enjoyed Maritime for years - and I will say this is one establishment to that has improved with age! The pub grub is excellent - but some of their special entrees are truly exceptional. As I'm writing this I'm finishing some very tasty curried fish cakes. For a while it felt like all of the microbreweries in the area were leaving Maritime's is beer selection a bit behind... But at some point recently they started cranking out seasonal ipas that rank amongst the best. Drop on by for a pint and dinner! The Lil Mahi sliders are a Ballard delicacy.
