Food was flavorful and big portions. Cucumber salad, fried pork belly, and black pepper beef hit the spot. Clean dining room and good service

This was such a treat. My husband is heavily into Chinese cooking and particularly loves siuhchuan and I am gluten free and can never eat Chinese out with him. Not only were most dishes available gluten free but the food was phenomenal. In the top 3 best meals I've had in Seattle and we eat at a lot of restaurants. Highly recommend. Just don't do what I did and rub your eye after.

I generally subscribe to the practice of “voting with your dollar” and try to only write reviews when I’ve had a fantastic experience; my dinner at Plenty of Clouds is no exception. We sat at the bar and got the Chinese greens, pork dumplings, black pepper beef short rib and the dan dan noodles and all of them were outstanding (and sizable portions). The drinks were fantastic and made by the our favorite aspect of the visit which was our bartender Miles who was charming, funny, personable and managed to find the time to goof with us about the latest Street Fighter PlayStation game all while preparing drinks for the entire spot. We definitely enjoyed getting takeout from here during the pandemic but had such a fun time that I suspect our visits in the future will be predominantly in-person.

We had a wonderful dinner here, and were very pleased with our dining experience here during Seattle Restaurant Week. Our waiter was very friendly, and even offered us to taste a menu ingredient we were unfamiliar with. And hats off to the chef- everything we tried was delicious. My particular favorite was the twice cooked pork belly, followed closely by the cucumber salad. The only thing we found underwhelming was the rice crispy dessert. All in all it was great though. We’d love to come here again.

Can make everything vegan except dumplings. Everything was fantastic!! Chickpea dish was our favorite - even for the non-vegans. Lovely outdoor seating with awning, lots of air circulation, and a very effective heater. Extremely fast and nice service!

This restaurant is very good. I’m in the area for the first time, and I wanted a really good Asian food experience before I left. This restaurant allowed us to do just that. We had the sesame noodles, Szechuan chicken, pork dumplings and mushroom fried rice. All of the food was very flavorful. Also, the vibe was good, and the waitress was kind. There were no misses. I highly recommend!

The place has nice outside seating and we just found it walking around. The drinks are strong! Order a cocktail just do it! 😏 the pomegranate drink with gin was really good. Ordering for two I would suggest to order 2 of the small plates and one entree to share. The peppercorn will make your mouth numb and if you prefer food with less hot spices make sure you get some rice to have a bite in between. I would recommend the Dan Dan noodles and the grandma potatoes. We also tried the fried chicken which was very spicy and the spicy eggplants but I think those dishes you can get in a lot of places with the same quality but the DanDan noodles and the potatoes were special. Would recommend it if you are into spicy food. We tried more of their dishes this time and I would recommend the new watermelon salad on their menu!

What an excellent dining experience! Came across the restaurant on an Eater list and decided to try it. We had a reservation (which was great, because the place was busy!), and were seated promptly! I especially loved our servers - all of whom were so friendly and had great recommendations. The menu was exciting - we loved the chrysanthemum salad and spicy eggplant (chilled) - amazing flavours and the spice level was just right! The Dan Dan noodles and the mushroom tofu fried rice were great large plates to share. I got a Red Lantern to drink, and the flavour of hibiscus was superb. Overall, a 5 star dining experience, would highly recommend and would 100% visit again!

We went yesterday and if I could rate it 100 stars I would! Every single dish was delicious, but I especially enjoyed the pork belly and lamb. Waitstaff had great suggestions on which drinks to get as well.

Cozy beautiful place with delicious food options! We tried a combination of items including the spicy eggplant, chickpea curd, grandma potatoes, mapo tofu, dry fried chicken, stir fried cumin lamb, dan dan noodles, mushroom and tofu fried rice. The dan dan noodles were my favorite followed by the cumin lamb. There werent any dessert options offered but would've loved some after the spicy food!
