Met a group of people here for a "meet in Seattle" event for my first experience with the restaurant and the group. Milo gave AMAZING beer recommendations for me, got me the hookup on amazing chicharrones and patiently walked me through their OpenTable limitations when I was worrying about how my order impacted the people I didn't know who I was eating with.
His willingness to help me through possibilities so I could pay my own bill is the difference between 2 stars and my 4 stars. I got the distinct feeling that he felt weird about the situation, and he left before I could pass him some extra cash for rocking the wonky situation. His professionalism is the sole reason I'd consider checking this spot out again.

The space that Market Hall occupies has had several incarnations from mini mart to deli to restaurant. While overshadowed by other restaurants in the area, Market Hall has a casual vibe that you wouldn't be ashamed to take a date or your parents to. If you're a vegan like me, check out the Brown Rice Bowl its a perfect dish, sweet/sour tofu, crispy brussel sprouts, marinated eggplant and a few greens. Very filling, I almost always take half of it home. They also offer a full bar. We've had a few Happy Hours here, note - it can get loud because of all the solid surface and the relatively small space. Another tip, they at the bar they mix their own ginger beer.

Simple. Happy hour, women, and kindness. The Manhattan for 6 is great, the martini isn't dirty enough. The bar tenders are great and the truffle fries are great for 6. Enjoy!

Picked up a Ceasar salad with a piece of salmon to go from the case today. Really good. Salmon was cooked PERFECTLY! They carry Columbia City Bakery baguettes, so planning to buy my bread there now. You can call ahead and have anything on their menu prepared and ready for you to pick up. They have market items too, refrigerator case, frozen case. They have GoodPop's, can't wait for a hot day to try out the watermelon agave! I haven't even checked out what cheeses they have yet. Check this place out, I highly recommend it!
