A great place to bring children to expose them to a variety of science topics; dinosaurs, space travel, the planets, earth events and numerous hands-on activities. For butterfly lovers there is a great tropical butterfly room.

Very fun place. Definitely take kids although it will take much longer to explore everything. With two adults, it took us about two hours to see most everything. If you’re from Washington, you actually get a discount on your admission fee, which is kind of nice.

We visited yesterday and one of the first things my son said to me this morning was "Mom I want to go back to the science place" we had a lovely visit. The butterfly room is always a magical experience and there was truly so much for kids to see and do and learn. Great place for enriching your kid's learning with hands on learning and experiences! I don't post my kids face publicly but I got the best picture of him with so much wonder (and a fair amount of sparkle ✨️) in his eyes 🤩 Thats the look a child makes when they're falling in love with learning.

Was here for a conference event, but what we did see was really neat. Butterfly habitat is super cool. Good time overall.

A great mostly-interactive science museum. I especially liked the butterfly room and the space exhibits. There were a lot of other exhibits to try, including some of my favorite oldies. Recommended.

The Pacific Science Center has changed a lot since I was a kid, but they still have some great offerings you can certainly spend an afternoon exploring, not to mention the Laser Dome and IMAX Theatre there. Definitely be sure to check out the butterfly room. It's nice and warm during the fall and winter and seeing the butterflies is a treat.

Another great museum to take your family ! They don’t offer discount for youth and military personnel. It can be quite expensive to go there. We enjoy our time there as a family!

Perfect place for kids to not only learn about science, but burn off some energy. A lot of exhibits are hands-on and interactive. The butterfly exhibit was probably the most unique thing for me as you are surrounded by live butterflies and seeing them up close. Expect to reasonably be here for 90-120 minutes in a visit.
