Would give 5 stars for the POKE BOWLS. It’s affordable and portions are good. I usually go for the tuna and salmon option. The couple working are very friendly and the food comes out fast. SKIP the teriyaki and bulgogi here though it’s very sugary and just not prepared that great. But the poke bowls are hearty. Place is a little dingy and rough around the edges but who cares too much at for a quick lunch break and decent prices.

We got the breakfast burrito and the Bulgogi egg bowl! Both meals were delicious! Should have gotten the Bulgogi egg bowl spicy…. Next time 😻🫶

We discovered this delicious little cafeteria tucked away in a back alley of downtown Seattle while we were staying at a nearby hotel that did not have anything for breakfast. This little gem of a place is a bit out of the way unless you know how to get to it (we used the alley between 3rd and 4th). But the quality of the food and the reasonableness of the prices makes this a must do, if you're looking for breakfast or lunch.
We chose the ham and egg breakfast sandwich which was sizable, hot and fresh. But the real winner was the breakfast bulgogi bowl with two eggs. It was so much food, we actually ended up splitting the bowl and didn't have the sandwich until later. An absolutely great way to start the morning.
And as mentioned the prices were really good, for the breakfast sandwiches they were all under $10, some as low as $5. The bulgogi bowl was a bit more at $12, but easily fed two of us.
Additionally, the shop owners were extremely nice. And you could tell there were regulars coming in to get their usual sandwiches and then head off to work.
If you're in the area and you can find it, I absolutely recommend the Original Deli

An unassuming location for amazingly delicious food and extremely kind and caring service. Run by an elderly Korean couple, there's clearly love and care put into the food they make for their customers. This is definitely a hidden gem, where you don't come here for the atmosphere, you come here for the food. Had a great lunch box of chicken, teriyaki, sushi and some salad. And the prices for downtown Seattle are impressively economical.

Hidden gem! The food is excellent. Bulgogi is full of flavor and the portions are healthy. Must try!!!

This is the kind of place that only exists because of good choices made decades ago when office buildings still had cafeterias. I imagine the building could not repurpose the cafeteria space into a fancier place, hence this very affordable and approachable eatery exists in an area where everything else is high priced or bustling. This place, tucked away in a hole in the wall, is an oasis of calm. The food is pretty good too.

Original Deli is a small breakfast and lunch spot down an alleyway right off 3rd Ave in downtown Seattle. Follow the signs to get there, and once inside, you're greeted by the nicest lady ever. Their menu isn't big but the prices are cheap, portions are large and the taste is good. They have sushi, teriyaki, bulgogi, and breakfast sandwiches. You order using the dry erase pens on the counter and food comes out within 5 or so minutes. Very hidden and not well known, but a hidden gem for sure.

Excellent little breakfast spot. We had the breakfast burrito. It was great. To get to this place you have to go in 1215 4th street and then take an elevator down to AB floor level. Then it's right around the corner. Next time I'll try a Bulgogi Egg Bowl.

A hole in the wall in an alley between 3rd and 4th Avenue. They do what they do well and efficiently. My Dr. Appt. ended early, so we made it with time to spare. We had a tofu teriyaki bowl and a Chirashi bowl. Just right for lunch, tasty. It's really convenient, and it's one of a kind, no franchise - extra star for that.

I used to regularly pick up breakfast from this place while in Seattle on a two week trip. This is a quaint little place which opens up early morning. I have tried the cream and cheese bagels, egg and cheese bagels from here. It also serves sandwiches, sushi and other food. There is a small dine in area but most customers prefer takeouts. The service is quite good and you are always welcomed with a smile
