Awesome staff! Ben and David are extremely attentive and I felt really comfortable here having a few drinks alone, which is really important to me when I go out in Capitol Hill. Everyone around me seemed to be having a great time. Excited to come back and bring friends to check out their speakeasy they are launching called the Apothecary.

A wonderful and welcoming place, great food, great choice of drinks, you are taken care of super quickly. Absolutely amazing. If you're wondering about the sudden influx of 1 star reviews, some political extremists are not happy about the owner's political views (expressed privately and not relating to this business in any way, shape of form) and thus they have concluded that his business must be shut down. I personally couldn't care less about anyone's beliefs and instead rate the quality of food, drinks, entertainment and service. 5/5, thank you!

Great place, great food and fantastic service. Very European feel to the place. The food is all highly recommended, I've never had a bad meal there. The service was exactly how I think it should be. They were friendly, made some great recommendations and managed to provide great service without being 'buggy' if ya know what I mean. Try this place and you won't be disappointed!!!

They have always taken good care of us. The Manager Erwin is on top of things and the staff is very accommodating. It's always a pleasure doing business with the Canterbury! Stop on in! The atmosphere is refreshing with comfy seating!

I pick up a fair amount of food there for customers. The service is great. I have only been in a couple of times but each time, immediate service, huge flat screens on multiple walls, a pool table, lots of space to relax, nice booths. The food is good according to the customers I deliver for. The only reason I didn't give a 5* is poor parking. Otherwise, its a historic restaurant that locals love on capital hill.

Be advised that they’ve drastically changed their brunch menu. A 1 stack means a half waffle. Mimosas are solid.

Good selection of pub food and beer. They show Tennessee football games every Saturday.

Pretty fun Cap Hill bar! More chill and less crowded than any of the spots around Pike/Pine. Drinks aren't too pricey and there's usually not too long of a wait for shuffleboard or darts. They have specials every night and the Geeks Who Drink trivia on Wednesday is pretty fun. They also have a pretty good brunch!

I stopped in to pick up some lunch to go and came out with this giant Club sandwich. It's amazing and they did not skimp on the bacon. Friendly bartender and good happy hour beer as well.
