Sodo Chicken

Extremely juicy tender chicken. I'd call the crust more Asian than Southern. It's a very light crust, and seasoning is light. If you think most fried chicken is too salty and greasy, give this a try. It's not tempura, but it's a little reminiscent of it. I would love an option for a spicy batter, but this was definitely better than average chicken. Worth noting: the 10 piece basket is all thighs and giant wings, no white meat, which will either make you very happy, or not. We visited during King County Phase II and were very pleased with the COVID-19 care taken. There were signs, a physical barrier between the customer and cashier, and a table for transfer of food bags. I complimented the (proprietor?) and he beamed behind his properly fitted mask. I believe this restaurant is taking sanitation very seriously, and that bodes well overall.

Very tasty. The sandwich had some dark meat which was an unexpected treat, nice and fatty. Flavor and breading were reminiscent of the Chicken Shack at Shake Shack and I'd say same quality. The chicken and waffles platter was also very delicious. Solid fried chicken. Basic sweet Belgian waffle. Went in for a late lunch and had pleasant service and a very short wait for a two entree take-out order.

Been here twice now and can say if you have a craving for fried chicken, this place will satisfy it. Not the best in the city but very tasty and a good bargain proposition. Indoor dining or take out. Very casual. Can be a little hard to find. Right where east marginal way turns into fourth. Same building at Katsu Burger, which has much better signage.

We were headed to a different restaurant to eat, I'm glad we chose this place instead. The gentleman that took our order was very personable and patient. As this was our first time, we ordered the special ( six wings with macaroni salad) and buffalo wings with a Belgium waffle. The price was nice and the food was delicious, hot and served table side. I told the gentleman we would be back. Next time I'll invite more of my family, we number quite a few, we're hungry and always on the lookout for GOOD fried chicken.

This place actually do have pretty good chicken. The only thing are the sides. They are store bought macaroni and potato salad from Reser's I hate that brand. If they can start making their own sides, I will give them more stars. They are a little pricey and they do nickel and dime for sauces and like but the customer service is good, so it kinda makes up for it.
