For the bar area and not the restaurant: Truly a dive bar. Locals hangout. Quaint bar room area. Can order Chinese food from next door at the bar. Drinks are strong and cheap. Ping pong table top on top of a pool table with some rackets and balls on site. Also, 2 pool tables. Jukebox. Does have a lingering smell of being a smoking establishment.

I mean it is what it is... We have done take out, met friends, eaten with a large group in the dining room. We have enjoyed the food, the time with friends and the service. It's a colorful crowd, mostly harmless - I've never had a problem, but it does give off that vibe that you may have one. Bartender was great, attentive and friendly.

Great portions for the price. You may get confused upon entering though. The Lounge is separate from the restaurant. Have to go out and then back in through another door. I had the Pork fried rice. Forgot to take pic. Big portion. Had to take half home.

It's Chinese food but not the best for the price.
Good food, nice quantity per serving for the price. The entire restaurant is set up for takeout and online orders.
They have a bell to the left of the entrance as soon as you come in ring it if someone is not there and they will come right out.
Parking is fairly decent on the occasion of spots being full there is still spots around the corner though traffic to the restaurant is another matter entirely.
Overall the restaurant is a four out of five for me on the star chart because of ease, price, and quantity you can find here.
(Yes notice I didn't say quality that's why four stars qualities of the food is another matter entirely. 🙃
You will have to try it yourself because to each his own with taste 👌)

Classic dive bar in ballard that STILL EXISTS! Even though I don't go often, the women who run the place always remember me. Not super fast service but then...that's not what we're here for...🎉

Took a chance, Chinese takeout, what could go wrong... Should have gone to Sunny Teriyaki instead (just around the corner and soo much better). After opening up my "Lo Mein" I called the restaurant thinking they gave me the wrong order. They said it was their "style". It wasn't even stir fried, just beef in sauce on top of cold spaghetti noodles. Too gross to eat. You've been warned!
