This place is really good. I'm from Louisiana and it was very close to the few I grew up with. The shrimp poboy were delicious (they have the real poboy bread. The etouffee was perfect.

Quick summary: - Sandwiches were great (shrimp fried perfectly, great seasoning). - French fries were okay. - Atmosphere is nice, but a bit bland. - Chalkboard with beer list and drink specials needs to be written much larger (or a daily, printed menu should be provided at each table). - Weird dichotomy between presentation of appetizer (fried green tomatoes on nice white plate, with nice presentation) and sandwiches (provided wrapped in white butcher paper; no plates). - Friendly, helpful staff. Visited on a Tuesday, around noon. Ordered fried green tomatoes, a fried oyster po boy sandwich, and a fried shrimp po boy sandwich - no mayo. Not long after ordering we were informed they were out of oysters, so ordered a fried shrimp po boy instead. Fried green tomatoes had a nice presentation and I think my wife liked them. Both sandwiches arrived with mayo, despite ordering one without. Person I spoke with had the sandwich quickly replaced for one without mayo. One sandwich was comp'd on our bill, as an apology for lack of oysters and for mix up on one of the sandwich orders. Sandwiches were great and my wife thought the hot sauce was killer.

Was there for the soft open had great service and amazing food. I was amazed how good it was when they were brand new. The Muffaleta Po boy and onion rings blew us away, made us feel like we were back in NOLA. So glad they came to West Seattle.

Made to order beignets!!! Don't forget to ask for the house made caramel sauce. I was very impressed with the kids chicken strips. Pulled Pork Po Boy was tasty and the fries were excellent.
