Chemo's Mexican Restaurant

For those who haven't visited Chemo's yet, we are glad we did. As an AZ native, their flavors are the closest I've come to tasting my neighbor's mama's beans, those homemade Mexican flavors that are elusive to find this far north. It seems so simple, but it's like Ratatouille, when the food reviewer tastes the food and warps back to childhood. It's gotta have soul and Chemo's has it. 10000% recommend

This is a family owned restaurant that relies on word of mouth.... So here are the words out of my mouth. Amazing verde, the most tender lengua, crispiest flautas, and all around delicious home food. The reason being, this IS their family's home food. Absolutely incredible, and intimate experience with your host/server, who is the son and husband of the cooks in the back! Don't forget to try the sugar cookies at the counter... 3 for a dollar and you won't believe how they melt in your mouth. Make sure you have milk!!
