7-eleven

As of today (1/25) I see that the location is closed and boarded up. As of 12/14/18 per a sign in the window, this location is open 9am-5pm all week. The staff is awesome. Unfortunately the crowd that hangs out on the street is not. When the crowd spills over inside, it gets just as bad. If you can time it right, you can get in and out. Although this is one of the best staffs I have seen in a 7-Eleven, I can't get there during their new hours. (5 Stars Staff - 1 star the crowd)

Edit: CLOSED! The end of last week, this location was completely boarded up. On a similiar note; the smoke shop next door had a window shattered and now the lottery machine is gone. Back weekend gone wrong or something else? Strange indeed. Wonder what they will attempt to put there, in its place? Hours changed to 9a-5p 7 days per week, yet Google keeps changing the hours back to 24/7, which IS NOT valid. As for the location, it is okay, if you get in and out and know exactly what you want; it's okay, nothing more, nothing less.

Considering the crowd that hangs out around this place, the staff do amazingly well. (It can be a bit dicey at this part of 3rd Ave, especially during non-commuter hours.) I imagine that they aren't paid enough for what they have to contend with. Unfortunately, there's not much of a selection at this particular 7-Eleven. It's mostly beverages, heated food that the chain is known for, and some snacks. There aren't any tolietries, magazines, medications, and automotive products here. Also, despite this location not being 24-hours, it *does* open earlier and stay open later than any other store or eatery in the immediate area. (That's actually the primary reason why I visit this place.)
