Opted to eat in, lovely welcoming staff. Had fish chips mushy peas bread and butter and pot of tea, massive portion, lovely crispy batter and flaky fish. Perfect chips and proper mushy peas. Lovely , great price definitely come again.

Got a "Special fish" it's been a while since I've been in a chip shop and it was quite a suprise when I only got £2.40p change from a tenner.
The fish was very nice, the price and suprise was not.... lol

We noticed Mr C's as we walked around and saw the free parking for half an hour. It was 4pm and we weren't hungry. But by 5pm we parked and joined the queue!! This is a popular place and in the end it was 35 minutes from joining the queue to walking away with my fish and chips! Very nice fish and chips and good value.

Always great fish and chips. Shame it is always so busy. Great that they now offer dedicated vegan menu too with quite a few options (fish, varions nuggets, sausages, pies etc) and the vegan chips are fried separately too. Used the online ordering system a few times now - that is also great, really quick and simple.

I am not a fan of fish and chips and only eat it in 2 places. The coast and here, I am very picky when it comes to fish and chips and all local to me just sucks. But even though this is an hour journey which isn't even still a halfway point for a coast for me. This place is close as you can get to a tasty coastal fish and chips.
The taste is out of the world, the fish is fresh tasting and cooked to perfection the chips are slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The curry sauce (Sorry better than mushy peas for all you mushy pea lovers 🤣) never disappoints (have the spicy promise it will never disappoint.)
I come here with my mum when I visit her, she loves it and is our little spot when we go for a nice lunch.
Every time me we come here we are so happy, thank you for great taste looking forward visiting again in the future

Busy and staff got a bit confused but generally good service and good food. But, if portion sizes were a bit smaller and prices a bit lower would be ìdeal. No one needs that amount if chips or fish! The cat enjoys the fish and the fox enjoys the chips!

Was very busy and took a while to get served. Think they may have been a bit short staffed. Staff that were there were great, just busy. Food was tasty although they ran out of curry sauce so only got a small portion. Would return.
