Absolutely fantastic meal. All 3 courses cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back. Possibly the best meal I have ever eaten. Thank you 😁😁😁😁

Had a fantastic meal last night, the black pudding was my starter, then I had the Ribeye steak with all the trimmings, and finished with syrup sponge cake with ice cream and custard. All in all it was one of the best meals out I've ever had. You'd be a fool to pass the pub at not eat here.

This is a lovely little pub. Food 10/10 and very large portions, top quality meats and veg. Great prices. Staff were lovely and very attentive, came to check that we were happy with our meals and then left us in peace while we ate. First we would go to eat next time we are in the area.

Just been to this pub tonight 16/10/21 as stopping at Skipwith station . Dog friendly but eat in the bar which was welcoming with a roaring fire 3 of us and a dog made to feel welcome by the staff and locals . A variety of gins plus other cocktails a lovely few pints of timothy taylor . We will be visiting again for sure love a pub doing food that's not lost its character.

We went here for food but they didnt serve food on the day we went. It was like walking in to saloon in a western when the door swung open everyone stops drinking and stares at you, bit weird. But then felt very welcoming. Super friendly bar man. There was also a chippy van outside serving fish and chips which were amazing

We have spent this weekend away at still rabbit lodges for our 16th wedding anniversary an we ordered a meal as our treat from here and omg I'm so glad we did, it was absolutely delicious the whole meal and sides, too full to start on deserts yet it's the best meal we've had from anywhere in a long time. Will be referring you in the still rabbit lodge guest book thank you for helping us make our anniversary extra special xxx Kerri & Haydn

A Good stop off! A roaring fire and 4 cask ales on tap. Separate eating area away from the bar. Friendly bar staff and good beer prices. Help support your local pubs by visiting if passing through North Duffield.

Fantastic food, choice of drinks and great service. Went between lockdowns last September and sat in the beer garden in the lovely location overlooking the village green and pond.
