This is my come to Chinese in Selby. Right in the centre, is usually quite quiet when I go. Service is always good and staff helpful. I go for the buffet, all you eat for £10 at lunch or £16 for dinner. Best thing is the food is cooked fresh. Highly recommend!!!

This was a takaway. Food was good and overall we would use again. However, they did have a fryer issue and the meal was late for collection. Cash only at present.

Quality food and service, my family really enjoyed the Japanese food here. Absolutely recommend dine in for the fabulous Sushi especially deep fried soft shell crab, don't miss the chance to taste various yummy food. Proud of the fusion of Japanese & Cantonese restaurant at Selby town!!!

Really enjoyed it! Two of us arrived at 8 o'clock on Thursday night and the place was very quiet, so we didn't have to wait for the table at all. We've chosen all you can eat option. Staff is very polite and makes sure you always have something on your plate. Food is very good, made from fresh and very tasty. I'll definitely go there again.

We absolutely love Regency - they are the absolute best Chinese in town. Not only is the food great but if you are dining in, the wait staff are just so friendly and attentive. Plus, we love how they make a busy restaurant still feel quite quiet and enjoyable. I would highly recommend the crispy beef in OK sauce and the vegetable chow mein - gorgeous!

Evening all you can eat menu is £15.99 and a pint of soft drink £2.60. The dishes are made to order and served to the table. There is a really good variety on offer and the staff were very friendly. Decor looks a little dated but far outweighed by yhe excellent service!

Been here a few times and recommended to friends who we came with for a birthday meal. Unfortunately after the starter it was poor all round. Part of main meal arrived, other orders didn’t, three arrived Luke warm, the fourth just didn’t, two sent back they were that cold so one person eating a main alone. They then returned after the first had finished eating and eventually the fourth meal arrived after everyone else was finished. Sorry but we will not be returning, a shame as we have been many times both when it was China palace and more recently the regency. Poor poor poor. £100 for cold food and poor service. I actually felt embarrassed and uncomfortable after singing the praises of this place to our friends. Avoid if you want a decent meal. �����������������

Went for our wedding anniversary and after been to the York regency several times we said we would try the Selby one and can quite happily say we were not dissapointed!
The staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was absolutely delicious just like the one in York, I can say we will definitely be visiting again...........the one and only bad point I would make is that when we asked for the bill we were waiting ages for them to take the money so decided to take it to the bar then to our surprise while we were waiting for our change she didn't look at us and just put the money in the tip jar until she realised we wanted it, now don't get me wrong I was willing to give a tip for the great service and food but come on don't just assume that we were giving u all the change!

Dated, poor drinks selection (fosters or johns on tap) starters were OK. Had crispy beef chicken and Singapore noodles. Noodles were dry and hard the crispy dishes were all batter no meat. Rice was nice. Staff are friendly. Could be a lot better.

We had the all you can eat menu, good food, although below average service. Good value for money. Very grumpy manager (seemed like she was in charge) other staff seemed nice. Despite this I would visit again.

Just returned from the Regency. The staff were Friendly helpful and professional, service was excellent. We opted the buffet which is cooked to order, very tasty and hot with plenty of meals to chose from the menu.
First time here and confident to say it won't be the last, another nice restaurant to add to the list..

Came here Saturday evening with a friend for a meal, The food was lovely you certainly get a lot! Although I didn't think much to the drinks list they didn't seem to have what we wanted, but all in all we enjoyed our meal and shall definitely come again, ......... Providing we don't have to watch what ever was showing on the screen as it was kinda freaky 🤣

Had my 2nd visit today & here on Monday for my birthday. Staff are helpful, friendly. Food all cooked to order & flavoursome. Can highly recommend this restaurant that's all reasonably priced.

We had a lunch meal here today and we were all looking forward to it as I've heard really good reviews from friends. The staff were great with me being a coeliac with multiple food intolerances, although the sauces weren't gluten free. A couple of our party said the ribs were tough, the crab legs tasted like potato and the chicken was rubbery like it had been preformed. I'm not one for bad reviewing but my family don't want to go again and I'm keen for them to know this. I shall be back for a Christmas meal with friends in December where I look forward to a better meal.

Went for lunch 20/05/17, fantastic service, food was lovely 😊 well worth a visit, also do delivery. And adviced if you want a delivery to order during the day and give a time you want it, as so busy in an evening, it can take a while to get through. Thought this was great advice, thank you 😊
