Review Costa Coffee - Selby

Friendly staff good coffee but very few cakes left to choose from when we went in at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon

Obviously great selection of coffees, also teas, iced drinks, soft drinks , juices and water. Food is mainly sandwiches and paninis but great selection, toast with jams, marmalades and marmite. Plenty of cakes, pastries and biscuits to accompany your drinks, have inside or takeaway options. Toilet on ground floor wheelchair friendly, second toilet upstairs with extra seating and a more quieter space. Downstairs choice of armchair settee and dining chair seating. Short wait for service as gets busy at certain times but use the costa app and order ahead and pick up on arrival. Staff friendly. Alternative oat, soya, plant based "milks" for anyone with allergy or vegan vegetarian.

Very busy site, great coffee and friendly service ques a little long at busy times.

Had a lovely lunch and latte. Very friendly young lady serving. I think her name is Heather. Showed interest in why we were visiting Selby. A refreshing change from some outlets.

Always get a warm welcome whenever I've visited. Staff are very friendly and the food and drinks are good quality

Very busy, understandably! Vegan was well, pity they charge for oat milk - Caffe Nero doesn't charge!!!

As a regular at selby costa I always enjoy my coconut hot chocolate today the froth got alittle out of hand but as always the manger was there to sort it out. It's always nice to come in and the lovely girls know our regular order it makes us feel very welcome😍

Nice staff in Selby Costa, cheaper prices would be good! i like the warm atmosphere sitting chillin' with the newspapers that are already in costa (plus point) free newspaper great. free slice of cake wud be nice too!

Asked for a skinny cappuccino with an extra shot. Received a barely hot weak coffee.. Cutlery I was given was bent and it was really cold inside. Premises were tidy and neat and the staff were fine.

Good place to meet friends. I wasn't keen on the tea. I had buy a small hot chocolate instead. Sandwiches where ok. Thank you

Love the Costa Coffee in York,this one not up to par yet.Visited at 11am bought a strawberries and cream I have had many times.Tasted like cream and ice minus the strawberries.Very disappointed and the sandwich shelves were half empty at 11am just before dinner time rush hour and should have been packed at that time.All in all you want your strawberries and cream tasting like it does in Costa Coffee in York and Leeds and actually of strawberries.Lots of room for improvement Selby.

Staff are very slow to get the drinks to you and the tables are never cleared

It seems that the people making Cappuccino just warm the milk but it should be frothy. This is a common problem in many stores.

We go here all the time and our drinks are always perfect. Staff are lovely and friendly. Nice place to wind down and watch the world go by.

Okay but why oh why did I have to clear our table of a tray full of cups! Seems as though I do this every time I visit this particular store! Not really acceptable is it?? If I can see dirty cups etc then so can the staff! Come on people!!

The places don't make coffee, people do... and they do it beautifully in Costa Selby always served with a warm smile.. They make me feel home 🏡 Thanks guys
