We had a great valentines meal at Basco. Service great, reasonable cocktails and really yummy food! The croquettes were some of the best we’ve had (and we visit Spanish cities regularly in the hunt of good tapas!) My only bit of feedback would be to offer water for the table as we had to ask. We will be back soon!

Chose to visit last night after saying for a long while that it looks to be a lovely place. We were certainly not disappointed. Fantastic food and atmosphere in a lovely little restaurant for the town. Great staff as well.
We have always enjoyed tapas and this is a great addition to the growing offer of nice bars and restaurants in the town. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Have been numerous times now; both with my partner and by myself. While the service is excellent the food is really the star. The Monkfish, Pistachio, and Samphire dish is phenomenal; as is the Fillet Steak and Chimichurri; and so is the Sea Bass, Chorizo, and Fennel.
10/10 would highly recommend.

The food was absolutely divine! The service was friendly and attentive. Their sauvignon blanc is gorgeous.
I went with my partner and we shared 7 tapas. We particularly liked the gyros, the coconut calamari, and the steak tartare.

A little gem tucked away in selby town. Enter the bar and you enter a tidily laid out restaurant area with reasonable spaces between covers. The bar area is well laid out with a choice of drinks. Prices for drinks are reasonable with a glass of presence costing £6.95. The menu choices are varied with traditional tapas, main courses and shared platters. The service is excellent and friendly.

Honestly excellent. Attentive, friendly staff, a fantastic selection of food and a really relaxed atmosphere in a smart, well thought out restaurant. We dined during the first of two sittings and were surprised to find it quiet on a Friday evening. Absolutely worth a visit, this place should be packed out on a weekend! We will certainly be back.

Visited prior to a comedy night, the restaurant was quiet but nice ambience.
Attentive staff and efficient service. Was advised on 2 - 3 tapas per person. Great variety and the dishes arrived as ready with a good break in between each.
Happily travel the 30 minutes to return, a great restaurant choice for Tapas.

What a gem of a place. Ate here with friends and can't wait to go back. Food was exceptional, just the right portion sizes packed with flavour. The service was excellent, very informative and tentative. The atmosphere was spot on. Great for a group of friends or if you're looking for a table for 2. Loved it.

Our first visit was excellent. The waiter was very welcoming and helpful as were the other staff. The restaurant is very nice with a modern style. We ordered four plates and found this was enough for the two of us, we could have ordered more as required. The food itself is top quality. There is something for everyone. Highly recommended.

Brilliant service and food. We have enjoyed tapas at many places across Europe and UK. Basco's transported us to those places with beautiful dish upon dish. Can't wait until next time

Excellent food, friendly atmosphere and good selection of drinks.
The Tapas selection is large and reasonably priced. The small plates come when they’re ready and not all together like a conventional restaurant giving you that authentic delicious Spanish experience which you get in a tapas bar abroad. This gives you the flexibility to order a few more plates throughout your time there should you wish.
