Review Thai Valley Restaurant - Selkirk

It was our first visit to this lovely Thai restaurant, and it certainly won't be our last. It has easy ground floor access and the front of house staff were polite and friendly on arrival. Our starter, a sharing platter for two, with crispy spring rolls, chicken satay, fish cakes, and crispy chicken was beautifully presented, and everything tasted absolutely delicious. The prawn Tom Yum soup was delicious and not too spicy. Our prawn Pad Thai main course was certainly plentiful, and the chicken red curry main came with the most succulent pieces of chicken, served in a sweet, creamy coconut sauce. Both main course dishes would particularly suit diners who like their Thai food quite sweet. Next time, we will opt for something less sweet. The desert, deep-fried banana in crispy rice pastry, served with ice cream, was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this Thai restaurant for your next Thai food treat.

Fantastic restaurant, very friendly staff and the meal was incredibly good. It was quiet, we were the only people there on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Would definitely come back again and travel from Fife to try something different.

All the food was delicious and served exactly how we wanted it. Even with a table of 7, the wait staff and chefs were able to serve us in a timely and very friendly manner.

My husband and I were there last night. One of the best meals in a long time. Very friendly and the price was not too bad. Would recommend this to anyone who likes good Asian food.

Went here for my 40th suprise birthday and it was Well worth it . The food was amazing , served by really friendly happy owners . They were more than happy for us to have a party atmosphere set up with balloons and a suprise cake at the end presented by the chief himself singing happy birthday. Thought the menu had an excellent choice of Thai food with a really good Thai beer on offer aswell . Perfect place for a night out for brilliant food . As there was a few of us it helped see a big range of starters and mains being served and not one of us was disappointed. They also offer a takeaway service aswell . Great place with a service with a smile and will definitely be back. Will give a few places a run for there money in Selkirk . 10 out of 10 . Well done all at Thai Valley 👏👏👏👏👏👏

A gem in the borderlands. Great flavors, high quality ingredients, and excellent service. Ordered some classics: Massaman and Pad Thai. They did not disappoint. Good size portions as well.

Absolutely amazing meal, could not recommend this highly enough. Staff friendly and welcoming but not in the way, food looked and tasted fantastic. Selkirk is definitely becoming the place to go for great food.

First class traditional Thai food, I will make this my local as it made me think of Thailand.
