Visited for the first time. Pie of the day was delicious, fresh local meat, huge portions- reminded me of pies in Devon! Mash and chips were good too. Staff were friendly. Parking was on the road, its a small road which I can imagine at peak times would be busy, but there were no parking restrictions. Inside was a little small not a huge amount of seating and the outdoor seating was only 4 tables (overlooking the road and then the lake), but overall a decent reasonably priced country pub with seemingly good quality food. Worth a visit, would recommend opting for their local food!

Looked on Google maps for somewhere near the M25/A21 junction and Bricklayers came up so called in on the off chance of a table. Arrived about 18:30 and all but one table was reserved so we were very lucky. We were seated in the restaurant which had a cosy atmosphere. Our waiter (sorry didn’t get his name but he reminded us of Tom Daley!) was very friendly and suitably attentive. Food was very nice, and I was a particularly pleased they offered smaller plates of most main courses for smaller appetites. Very glad we found it for a stop off on way to Hastings from Silverstone!

Would certainly recommend The Bricklayers Arms for food and/or drinks as it is a beautiful little pub. Food was tasty and well presented, service was quick and personable, facilities were clean and well maintained.

There's so garden seating as you might have expected from the pictures and the kitchen closed at 8:30 instead of 9.

Met with a large group of friends, service was good considering how many there were at the table.
BBQ chicken burger was large and tasty- tiny bit dry but still good.

Friendly service and sizable portions. I recommend the sausage and mash although the onion gravy could have been thicker. They also accomodated us by doing sausage and chips because one of our guests didn't like mash. I had the cheese burger with bacon. I dont think the bacon added to the dish but good all the same.
The desserts were really good. I would recommend the Bailys cheesecake. The 3 scoops of ice cream was good with the salted caramel getting a thumbs up.
There was a good selection of beers. Harveys IPA was nice.

Came to this pub by accident. Location is good, just close to the lake. Though need to wait a little bit for the food, the food is amazing and definitely worth the wait. Love the duck leg! 😋😋😋

An ideal meeting place for a catch up with a friend. We had a table for two in front of a long fire. Very welcome on a freezing day. The food was very good and not expensive given the quality. But the beer was the highlight. Harvey's Bitter from barrels on the counter behind the bar. Properly kept and served. Wish it was my local.

We love this pub - it's a great meeting/eating place for us & our family who travel from the other side of Kent, Essex and Hampshire. It's got a great atmosphere, is child and dog friendly the staff are nice - and best of all the food is GREAT! The only negative is there doesn't appear to be any baby changing facilities?

It was a typocal English pub with a difference. The view out on the lake was awesome. People were taking glasses out and sitting on the lawn opposite and relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. It was almost surreal in its beauty. Food was excellent. I recommend the Haddock with creamy potatoe. Truly Yummy. Large portion!

Found this place on the internet while looking for somewhere close to m25 to eat that wasn't a device station. The reviews just don't do it justice! Can't remember when iv had such a nice meal out that also didn't cost the earth but I recommend booking if you can! Both me and my food baby thank you!

The food was fantastic and could not be faulted as were the staff, however they took our Booking for 2pm, on arrival and after a chat with our friends as we were told “The Kitchen Shuts in 10 minutes” so we ordered straight away and asked about ordering a Dessert at this time as they sounded great and we were told “No it’s ok you can order your Desserts after eating your food” But when we went to order our Desserts after eating our food we were told, “It’s too late the Steamer is off and you can only have Cold Desserts” I wanted The fruit pie and wanted it, this is why I gave 4 Stars and not 5 as they took our Booking for not 7 Adults snd 2 Babies for the time we arrived and should have informed us of Kitchen Closing Times, I started to tell s member of staff this and he walked away mid conversation yours

It's always a good sign when you walk into a pub on a Thursday afternoon and most of the dining tables are already occupied.
The menu was varied with dishes that would appeal to all appetites.
Generous portions along with fantastic views across the sailing lake opposite the pub made this a really enjoyable dining experience.
I shall definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

Really excellent Sunday lunch in an lovely public house with friendly service. Restaurant was packed so booking early is advisable to avoid disappointment. In a lovely location overlooking a sailing lake. Would definitely recommed.
