There's always a friendly face there. The bar staff are all lovely and helpful. The food is really good :-)
I think I am probably biased, however its the best pub for literally a mile around.

We hired one side of the bar, for a birthday party, everyone there had a great time, and everyone I spoke to, said that they loved the pub. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely go there again. Thank you 👍
Always an ok venue to enjoy a drink
On a trip down from Scotland, my family and I stopped by for a pint and some fodder. Safe to say that we had a fantastic spread of food, some lovely cold pints and the bar manager James was a legend. Attended to our every need. Lovely atmosphere, good food, great staff and just a stones throw from the train station and high street.
Bit too much of a sports pub for me. If you want a sports type bar then this is the place for you.
Very clean and fresh inside and good selection of drinks.
We enjoyed a couple of drinks here on a rainy afternoon, decent bar with friendly service. Parking is a bit of a chore, there is a small car park at the side for a couple of cars, and Lidl next door allows 90 mins, just enough for our needs.

Lovely wine, cute little pub, I went there just before 8pm and the kitchen had already closed even though it said they closed at 8pm, all I wanted was a cheese board but apparently the chef had already hone home!! I appreciate I was cutting it fine but it doesn't take much to put some cheese and crackers on a plate. The bartenders were nice and polite about it though, just a shame. I didn't want to drink on an empty stomach so had a packet of bourbon crisps, they were not very tasty, but that's my fault for choosing them!
Fantastic little pub, lovely outside space, interior has been completely re-done to a high spec. They serve the best bier available in the country, genuine German lager Hofmeister Helles, brewed in Bavaria and the Gin station is pretty wonderful too. Well done everyone, I love it at the HH.

Lovely and great matured crowd. Absolute good behaviour from everyone. The staff are efficient and if you are into 90's music; you are in the right place. Stellar!
Sweet little pub. The chef makes yummy food and takes requests just how you like it. Music events happen often aka open mic nights, record club, ukulele groups, DJ night etc.
